Next video is a strong common opening :) The Bertin Gambit is super complex (and rare), I just wanted to show you the main line because it‘s simply insane
> Prepare hyper-aggressive gambits for the caro, sicilian, french, etc. > Opponents start playing ...e5 again. > You've forgotten your gambit prep against ...e5 by this point
Tried this for fun and thanks to this video I immediately had it foiled 5 games in a row by other openings/moves, but destroyed my opponent on the 6th when they blundered in just the right way to where I could basically play this opening anyway, thank you
I made up a random variation of the blackmar gambit and i discovery checked my opponent so much that i already took their rook and knight with a pawn and promoted that while their entire kingside and part of their queenside was undeveloped. I’m still gushing about it
Yes, this opening is fun to play and definitely works well in fast time controls. The main issue is that most players don't go for 3...Be7, so you need to learn a few more lines. But keep playing the King's Gambit. It's a chad opening for wild games and exciting gambits!
At 4:58 there wasnt a lot said about king moving to e6... Sure its not pretty. But my opponent would play it and laugh in my face. Sure i could follow up with Qh5 , but after that black has a lot of opportunities ... I dont believe in this gambit.
I think I'd give a check on g4 instead... the rook is cutting off the f file. I think White definitely has chances even if the Black King steps forward
Can you do a video about the Bellon Gambit? Is Anna Cramling's dad and is a very strong gambit and very interesting it would be nice if you do a video about it
I actually had this once in the Vienna gambit accepted 😂 tho black played d5 in that game instead of Be7 (I don't think many people are going to go Be7 since it's a passive undeveloping move)
Next video is a strong common opening :)
The Bertin Gambit is super complex (and rare), I just wanted to show you the main line because it‘s simply insane
Is it good for 400 elo?
@delayspawn10 I think Be7 is rare, and if they don't play it you have to know other king's gambit lines, but if they fall, they're done
aggro italian game?(doesnt matter ill watch no matter the opening)
chess page don't know what he uploded
Can you make a video on the colle system?
There's nothing more aggressive than me moving the queen early and losing it 3 moves later
Me af😂
Aggression 100
Effectiveness 0
*Nelson approves*
Damn
Sack the king dude
> plays a specific gambit that requires very specific moves
> get assaulted by caro kann, sicillian, french, or scandinavian defense
> cry
Main reason I don't play e5, idk the theory and people don't know Scandinavian theory so easy elo
> Prepare hyper-aggressive gambits for the caro, sicilian, french, etc.
> Opponents start playing ...e5 again.
> You've forgotten your gambit prep against ...e5 by this point
The unstoppable force vs the immovable object
That was me with the Stafford Gambit. Suddenly 1. d4 was the new meta right after I learned it.
Loved the chess simp cameo
Clicked faster than I miss mate in 3

Literally the only youtuber who has mastered the AI voice without it sounding terrible.
Nah, @ChessSimp also has
I love how he says pwan instead of pawn
Sac three pluns and a bishop...
If he ever stops saying, "plun" I will unsubscribe!
It's because he adds humor
I think that's because it's less "2024 state of the art neural network AI" and more "2007 shitpost Microsoft Sam LOLOLOL"
wakeup babe chesspage1 remembered his password
But he actually has a pretty normal posting schedule...
often times i wonder what drugs chess grandmasters used to abuse in order to think of these openings
Tranqs, duhhh. Ever watched the queens gambit
Grandmasters aren't thinking of these openings. They have no reason to because they're terrible in mid-high elo.
At 5:20 after black takes the knight, the threat is Queen g6 mate, and NOT taking the rook on h8
True
Yeah wtf
thx, just thought the same why should i take the rook when i can mate him :D
2:39 Everybody gangsta until Black decided not to move with the bishop and play d5 instead
omg touhou fan
@@Tohorazen real
Or Nf6 too
@@andree9519 if black develop night then bishop is gone
"CALL AN AMBULANCE...but not for me"
You know a opening is good when it starts out with the King's Gambit
There is nothing more aggresive than sacrificing all my pieces just to confuse the opponent and win it later.
Win it later?
We are not the same.
Dang, this is really more evil than the bong cloud opening
Finally another Chesspage1 video
Exactly
Waiting like mobths
5:19 instead of taking rook , give checkmate
That doesn't work, it's black's turn to move and as shown, they block with the knight.
How?
@@jaideepshekhar4621 If the pawn takes knight, you just take the pawn with the queen and it's checkmate.
@@gonzo1478 But knight takes your queen. No need to take knight.
@@jaideepshekhar4621 How? Qxg6, Knight can only go on f6 :|
No way the Knight got French AI voice...
Oui oui Monsieur
5:18
Checkmate in 1❌
Take the rook✅
why are you so popular
you are making the gambit even more popular lol
HE POSTED
Finally you posted :) The editing is actually nice!
This guy has the most descriptive gambits ever
My favorite chess YT channel making a video on a variation of my favorite opening? Life is good.
5:04 I thought he was going to fork the queen and the rook
Tried this for fun and thanks to this video I immediately had it foiled 5 games in a row by other openings/moves, but destroyed my opponent on the 6th when they blundered in just the right way to where I could basically play this opening anyway, thank you

This is now my favorite opening
Thank you

This should be called the Bert 'n' Ernie Gambit.
Nothing beats an opening as aggressive as da bongcloud
Bro the guy with the evil eyes looks like his name is Bertin
The DOMINATION is insane, and that's how we love ChessPage1.
This is the only chess channel that makes me lol
Yes, this opening is fun to play and definitely works well in fast time controls. The main issue is that most players don't go for 3...Be7, so you need to learn a few more lines. But keep playing the King's Gambit. It's a chad opening for wild games and exciting gambits!
I own a chessable course w/ this that I used to use, still use it as a surprise weapon against lower elo ppl in online tournaments
Hi, the quality of your videos editing is very good !!! The content of course is interesting.
can you do a video about the tortoise opening pls?
"thanks to my sponsor, absolutely nobody" 😆
That's one way to drag your opponent's king out of their own protection
Big shout out to the sponsor, Nobody. I didn’t have to skip a single second.
Kings Gambit is one of the most dangerous openings for both players, though black usually gains advantage because they take initiative in most attacks
little did i know its just the king's gambit
The Bertin Gambit, invented of course by mister Gambit
who plays the Queen to H5 at 5:07?? and who, instead, plays the knight to F7? I for one would play the knight.
You never fail to inspire me to play Chess again, thanks for another video!
This has some similarities to the Nakhmanson. Please keep making content dude love the channel.
At 4:58 there wasnt a lot said about king moving to e6... Sure its not pretty. But my opponent would play it and laugh in my face. Sure i could follow up with Qh5 , but after that black has a lot of opportunities ...
I dont believe in this gambit.

Queen h4 is check and queen f6 checkmates with the horse
if pawn takes the knight theres just a mate-in-one, if you dont take thats also a mate in one, after the sac theres no way out of checkmate (i think)
Can you do a video about the Bellon Gambit? Is Anna Cramling's dad and is a very strong gambit and very interesting it would be nice if you do a video about it
Nah my eyes locked with the thumbnail and i feared getting cursed
Sir please make video on french difense all variation as black
Proud to be your sponsor 🤝
Bro legit came back from death
I thought that the guy in the intro will jumpscare the heck outa me. By the way, good gambit lesson!
A new chesspage1 Video is joy
lol the black rook talking in english with a german accent.
Thank you for this i will try this otb and let you know how it goes in a few days.
ChessPage1 is back les gooooo
And I found the most thrilling video today
Bro intro is horror but end is fun
@4:50: Dick O'Sverde the greatest unknown grandmaster!
Whut the heil
I always play the King's Gambit, so I'll definitely add this to my repertoire on the very slim chance that they play Be7 :)
Bro decided to remember his password once again
1.Ch8 Qh5+ 1. Kg8 ( forced move ) 2. Qf2# Right ?
If they take the knight back with the pawn, you don't take the rook. You take the pawn and it's checkmate.
I actually had this once in the Vienna gambit accepted 😂 tho black played d5 in that game instead of Be7 (I don't think many people are going to go Be7 since it's a passive undeveloping move)
"WHAT THE FLIP" Ahhhh openng 💀

The Absolute Legend is back!
I’m going to try it at 500 ELO
NF6 instead and I blundered the Queen
Dear chesspage1,i sincerely ask you to cover the sicilian defence
my good sir/madam
have you heard of the Nakhmanson or the Double Muzio?
honestly i remember this gambit being named the Cade gambit
Make a video on the vienna(my favourite opening!)
Master pls teach us the Sicilian defence 🙏
My favorite in the kings gambit variation
Chess page 1 review the double muzio gambit you sacrifie 2 pieces and it's very aggressive.
0:05.....me when ChessPage1 releases a new video
Bro is criminally underrated 😞
Mate you should do something about Grob
the final game was like the scorpion move from mortal kombat, fishing the opponent king out of his corner ... GET OVER HERE !!!!! and checkmate 😮😮😮😮
bro rose up from the grave
Make a video about the Bishop's opening.
you forgot to link to absolutely nobody in the description
Problem is that absolutely nobody moves bishop to E7. I tried it 20+ times black just never does that
This looks like kings gambit
Well known line in the Vienna
5:18 if black takes back hes hanging a lot more then a rook (mate in 1 by simply taking the pawn)
Wake up chesspage1 uploaded
3 Pawns and a Bishop walk into a bar....
😮 That nasty *Tim Burton gambit,* only villains use this technique
Bertin Gambit, more like Bert Martin Gambit.
HE'S BACK
Bro remembered that we exist
Everything that is a gambit is fun
Bro finally uploaded 🎉😊😊🎉🎉
