I've never seen that vehicle before... very interesting. Looks like a pretty good kit.
Looking forward to seeing the next video!

I picked up the Italeri kit some time ago to add to my collection of Dodge WC- vehicles. I'm quite familiar with the Italeri drawbacks, but it's nice to actually see some of the modifications that'll need to be made. So, thank you for that - it's much appreciated. The video was nicely put together and your narration covered the build quite well. Well done, Hillbilly, well done!
I fully understand that this is an "Out of the Box" build. It's been a long time since I've done a strictly OOTB build as I usually add after-market items if available. So, there's a good possibility that I'll replace their M6 gun with one from Bronco as the detail is much better and they provide photo etch for the gunner's guard. And SKP Models Lights and Lenses are so nice! And throw in some nicely cast resin wheels/tires. ;) - Mike

Hey Mike, yes, this kit has all of those issues that we are accustomed to with older Italeri kits, but the basics are there. And the gun was terrible, but being a cheapskate, lol, I chose to do the best I could with it. This kit could really use the benefit of aftermarket parts for sure! Good luck on your build, take care and model on!! Johnny

For a very ill-fitting model you did a great fitting job. Cool gas can. Amazing recoil shield. Nice clean work (even your surgery) lol Looking forward to your paint techniques. Do you have a patreon page? I can't find you. Thanks for all your great work on these videos.

No Mikey V, I don't have a patreon page, I'm 100% funded by me, lol. Thanks for asking. Model on my friend!!

Oh nice, the old Peerless/Max kit (1974 according to Scalemates), I have the Airfix 1976 boxing of the WC51 'Weapons Carrier' which is likely to find itself on my bench later this year - Great to see this classic actually being built.
    Very best from NZ.

Hi David, thank you for the very generous comment my friend. I really appreciate that. I'm happy that you have found something of use in this little video, and I'm sure you will love the next video in the M6 GMC series. I do love building these old kits, I think they give us many more opportunities to be creative with the build than most modern kits where the manufacturer has already "fixed" everything. Stay safe and model on my friend! Johnny
