** Why Do We Hunt Hogs? **
Feral hogs are a non-native and invasive species in Texas. Each year hogs cause millions of dollars in damage in the form of damaged crops, contaminated water supplies, broken equipment, transmission of disease and injury to livestock.
Feral hogs compete with native wildlife for resources and also prey directly on the eggs and young of ground nesting birds and will actively hunt small mammals, frogs, lizards and snakes.
Due to their intelligence, adaptability, and prolific breeding habits, traditional methods of hunting and trapping have been largely ineffective in reducing the feral hog population. The introduction of night vision and thermal optics has greatly increased landowners' ability to mitigate the destruction caused by feral hogs.
Feral swine are not considered game animals in Texas and may be hunted by any means or methods at any time of year.

** Why Do We Hunt Coyotes? **
Coyotes are presently the most abundant livestock predators in western North America, causing the majority of sheep, goat, and cattle losses. For example, according to the National Agricultural Statistics Service, coyotes were responsible for 60.5% of the 224,000 sheep deaths attributed to predation in 2004.The total number of sheep deaths in 2004 comprised 2.22% of the total sheep and lamb population in the United States, which, according to the National Agricultural Statistics Service USDA report, totaled 4.66 million and 7.80 million heads respectively as of July 1, 2005. Because coyote populations are typically many times greater and more widely distributed than those of wolves, coyotes cause more overall predation losses. The United States government agents routinely shoot, poison, trap, and kill about 90,000 coyotes each year to protect livestock.
Coyotes typically bite the throat just behind the jaw and below the ear when attacking adult sheep or goats, with death commonly resulting from suffocation. Blood loss is usually a secondary cause of death. Calves and heavily fleeced sheep are killed by attacking the flanks or hindquarters, causing shock and blood loss. When attacking smaller prey, such as young lambs, the kill is made by biting the skull and spinal regions, causing massive tissue and bone damage. Small or young prey may be completely carried off, leaving only blood as evidence of a kill.
In the absence of the hunting pressure of coyotes practiced by rural people, urban coyotes are losing their fear of humans, which is further worsened by people intentionally or unintentionally feeding coyotes. In such situations, some coyotes have begun to act aggressively toward humans, chasing joggers and bicyclists, confronting people walking their dogs, and stalking small children. Non-rabid coyotes in these areas sometimes target small children, mostly under the age of 10, though some adults have been bitten.

People keep crying about the bobcats, but please listen to an actual farmer! Bobcats have been the single biggest problem on my farm. Coyotes I can keep out with my game fence. Hogs dont try to push under the fence because I have 1 straight line of razor ribbon at the bottom of the fence. It cuts them up if they try. Hawks have a hard time getting chickens because the roosters are very good at alarming the hens when they spot them, they are very good at protecting their girls. Bobcats are a total different story. They climb fences like pros (they carry baby goats up the fence like a leopard), can squeeze through the smallest opening like a mouse and kill everything they can.
I've lost 31 baby goats in broad daylight from snatch an run attacks (caught on camera). I lost 14 turkeys, but I didn't have a camera at the time, but I suspect it was a bobcat as well. lost an entire brood of 150 hens and 2 roosters to a bobcat in one night! I thought a fox killed all the chickens until I looked at the video. It dug under the coup, went inside the wall, clawed out the insulation and chewed a 2x2" vent into a 6x6" hole! The bobcat killed EVERY chicken, one after another, until they was all dead and it only ate 1 of them! One bobcat cost me over $1000 in one night. I used to let bobcats live If i saw them because they eat piglets, but I shoot every bobcat I see now. EVER SINGLE ONE!
Before I had a farm, I would watch hunting videos and think, "why are they shooting such magnificent animals?".... but I totally understand why now.
Yeah feline predators are quite vicious, doesn't matter what species they are, they're all sadistic.
Funny, I was going to ask why the cats, then I read your info on the matter, and I'm all about bobbin' the cats now lol.
MisterGreenGuy, KEEP ON KILLIN THE CATS!!!! 👍👍👍
fucking liberal vegan city slickers need to shut up and live in their corrupt safe space bankrupt cities and leave us alone
MisterGreenGuy - *Don't let the crybabies shame you, I'm a fellow farmer, and bobcats are tricksters. You're protecting your livelihood! God bless and good hunting! I hope every round hit its target!*
This guy was the best shot on running hogs I've seen on RUclips. He really gets it how to lead them. You can see how much he led the running coyote that was out there a ways. That took some know-how and skill.
Not even close, there is a couple w/a three year old that make these yahoo's look like bone heads. Their taking out coyotes, bobcats, mountain lions and hogs at 3-500 yards.
@@constitutionislawofthislan6169 ---and showing only the film on the hits. You are naive.
but he's shit shot on hitting a non moving bobcat
@@constitutionislawofthislan6169 if you think these guys aren’t top tier shots, then you’ve never done any real shooting.
How can you shoot sows and piglets? Easy! You just don’t lead ‘em as far!
3:31 watching how a cat moves like this is amazing. It's almost mechanical in its precision with every step.
That's why their kill rates are so high.
Until he got yeeted!😂 great observation
loved watching that oppossum running up the tree at around 2:10 on the video.
I could watch this all day
I have been
Love the squirrel heading up the tree 2:10
Me too! I wasn't sure what it was, till you said...
We only have possums here.
Escape From Tarkov brought me here
Bro I looked up Reap-IR in real life cause I wanted to see that its actually real, and not just in Tarkov. Now I'm here haha
haha same here
Yes where you are usually the hogs
SAME
@@__Nicholas__ " ambushing animals at night" hahaha you wouldn't be saying that if you were losing hundreds or even thousands of dollars every night to these "poor animals" massacring your farm and all the life on it.
Or if you were being killed by one even...
Hearing them squeal is music to my ears.
Black hog down!
LOL
Nice!
Hogs make the most awesome smoked meat 👍🇺🇸
1 year later and I don't think you know what "black hog" insinuates.
Silence of the Hams
Me encantan tus videos...fantastics...MEDELLIN COLOMBIA.....👍
Okey boys, on three! ONE, bang bang bang, bang bang, bang. 😂
haha i noticed that to, happened more then once.
Someone can’t count right!...1ah ah ah 2ah ah ah....🦷
Ai eu dou valor pouca converssa e muunta ação 👏
Great video. What I liike most about your video's is that they are pure action packed without so much talking.
😂💀 @ 2:49 He did 4 filps and ran that was funny
Hah! I like that bit of trickery at 11:21, calling out to that coyote just before ruining his day. lol. Nice shootin'.
It's amazing to see how well you guys have improved in you more recent videos, you got the job done here, but more recently you guy are great at it.
Bobcat literally did not know what hit it and tried to fight off an imaginary attacker
Nice Compilation! Thanks for editing it to kill shots! Good jod and Loved it!
Love the video and night shooting skills. Keep up the great job you do some pest control and we all enjoy the good videos
You boys have some GREAT leading skills!
Wooooooo hoooo those moving drop shots are so nice
I'm binge watching you guys. Today is Saturday, April 3. Happy Hunting ! (4/3/21)
Nice shooting! Love to here them sequel!
What a shot!
Holy cow amazing. Great job you should be proud of this footage awesome!!!!
Excellent shooting guys !! Looks like a blast !
2:57 was amazing. Seriously, great marksmanship.
And 5:05
Even better😎👍
Your kidding right? Worse shooting ever
They suck.
I could watch this every morning bright and early with a cup of coffee and a cigarette.
Yeah that's what I'm missing. Thanks dude 👍
Exalent video always a good watch keep them coming...🇬🇧
Tracer rounds with Thermal hunting would be Amazing
ohhhhhhhhhhh ;)
On three. He counts one and his buddy shoots doesn't even wait till 2
Justin hulsey I hear his wife complains about the premature shooting also. Luckily, she’s got a rabbit that he’ll never shoot.
Was looking to see if someone said this. The old on three; One, BANG.
These videos are extremely satisfying!
Who knew bobcats could break dance. That was funny.
They are stronger than they look.
Nice shooting guys !!!
I'm laughing my ass off at all these people crying about this and that and a majority of them have no clue what it takes to maintain a successful farm or crops whatever the case may be ,so what a bobcat got it ....I salute you guys and all your efforts to keep feeding america
Bobcats, the great threat to America's food supply!
you got that right!!!!!!
Cody flynn, they are threats to our food supply! They do lots of damage to farms. I've lost 21 baby goats in broad daylight from snatch an run attacks (caught on camera). I lost 14 turkeys, but I didn't have a camera at the time, but I suspect it was a bobcat as well. lost an entire brood of 150 hens and 2 roosters to a bobcat in one night! MisterGreenGuy Ok, thank you. That answers my question on it, because I was just now like everyone else here being indifferent to him shooting bobcats. I've seen a couple of them here in Arizona at the property I work at, and I'm sure they don't mess around.
Thx for brightening my morning
I just can't get enough of this 😍
I just don't understand...I am not a hunter, yet, I find these videos very pleasing and satisfying...lol
Please do more of these..sigh
6:41 i would be worried about my livestock with you around let alone the coyote
Hella nice looking rifles guys.👌🏽
You are the king of the gut shots.
How about using a, AR-15 a Falcon Petra,or a, Beowolf .or a 50 BMG
You might have your hands on some of the most technologically advanced weapons and sighting devices, but that doesn't necessarily make a person a good shot. This video pretty much attests to that.
go fuck yourself
You've never been hunting have you?
These dipshits couldn't hit the Broad side of a barn with a tank
Not exactly the best shots are they?
Dem somersault rounds are AWESOME !!!!...yeeaa booyyee !!!
THX for the NV scope video. BTW, please disregard all the uneducated, urban lib's comments about bobcats. They don't know jackshate about them. Don't know about current TX regs, but it's LEGAL to hunt them here in GA (in season, of course) ! Happy hunting.
You have the shot take it!!! Never mind increasing the drama
the title of this video should be
HOGS BREAK DANCING
Bobcat @2:46 looked like a breakdancer.
I like the slow motion replay
Kind of weird, but after a hog has been shot at 5-6 times and missed, I like seeing them escape. But a question. Do you try to discern the alpha sow and shoot her first? Do you primarily target sows? Seems like getting rid of the females would be the highest priority, and the alpha priority #1.
“Your trigger went off”
No it didn’t. You pulled it lol.
Right lol for some shooters as serious as these guys I’m surprised he’d say that
The bobcat is pure humor
been watchin a lot of night hunting video but damn u r accuracy is pretty insane.
The bobcat look like he was hit by the Holy Ghost
Lol
max Hertford NEW FOR 2019 the Holy ghost round.
pml 🤣👌🏼
Dont kill cats they are not boars!!
😓😓👎👎🤲🤲☝️
Like the shooting hogs one but the shooting the bob cats...really don't see the reason
They can kill livestock, they are sorta treated like coyotes.
Jeremy Ramirez they attack animals and people
Jeremy Ramirez he probs did it to keep his livestock safe
it's legal so who cares
Jeremy Ramirez وت
Just great. Hogs with Salto mortale. Keep on shooting.
Want to play a Game??? It's called "Watcha Got There Bud?", Hell yes!
Thank 😊 you Fine Gentlemen for All of Your Kill shots. And thank 😊 for for sharing!
Nice job guys, looks like it was fun!
No .....at wack fun 😄🤣 brotherr ..
I'm curious, that first bobcat you shot that started jumping in circles with its paws out. Does it think it's getting attacked by another predator or something and it's trying to defend its self?
No Just pain
No It just knows It got a hole blown through It and it’s reacting
I know you won't see this but great shooting Fella's!
We call those "Rodeo cats". --- Thanks for the tutorial. ---
Up to 1:07 and imo you shoot better than an Empire Stormtrooper, but just barely.
Special skilz
*2:40* Now that's a ballet swan dance 🤣💃
These are great vids, thanks
The sniper with parkinson
There must be more lead there than in Syria
You know, I'm really disappointed. I've been watching these night hunts for hours and I haven't seen the first Bigfoot.
That's because he's right behind you 😱
They had to edit that out. Big brother and all...
@@azzkckr1956 - I don't know how you actually knew that Adam and that was at Walmart 😆
He's the one holding the camera, else the pictures would be all blurry.
There cold blooded
Night time , moving targets. That is some good shooting.
Nice shooting TEX!
" on three , 1 ...... BOOM " hahahahaha
There was some good shooting, especially the long (18-20") leads !!
I love seeing the hogs flip after getting shot.👍
The piggers on the run are good shots too.
I like that lead shot👍🏻
billions of dollars damage to crops annually
Thanks for another great video.
One of the best channels on RUclips
I can't believe the accuracy.
This is awesome. Too hard to look at these videos. Wish I was there blasting.
Great shot on the bobcat. Good action packed video. I use INFRARED scope cam, so It's interesting to see thermal action. Thumbs up.
CH
luis gustavo zeas zeledon MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY.
MrChuckhunter I hunt and this us shit. Is never let my son hang w shit like u
Mr Chuckhunter! Nice to see you here! I hate woodchucks but I hate hogs more!
Not true, they do lots of damage to farms. I've lost 21 baby goats in broad daylight from snatch an run attacks (caught on camera). lol , cities dweller tree hugger dont know what bobcats capable of damaging .
Little did the hog know that there was a second gunman on the grassy knoll.
He is blown out their brains with that nice scope. Love it .. kill kill kill
just like 2 know what cal.'s r u using, .243, 22-250, 243, 204, 0r 26??? good hog shooting.!!!!!
Mainly 300 Blk supers in this video 👍
Nothing better than a front flip kill
Idk, I think a double backflip kill would one up. Needless to say you'd need one BIG hunk of lead to achieve.
Really good aiming
7:05 !!!!! nice shot man!
Any cooked hog?
Way back IR was fit for big mounts like tanks, now so compact for rifles and dji drones.
I understand shooting cats, don't understand garbage shots on a hardly moving target.
Joshua Isreal If they are feral or predators; gun them down!
The point is killing em I don't care if u beat em to death with a bat
Say like, if you got a spare thermal scope getting dusty on a shelf I know a guy who would use it. You know, just so it doesnt feel neglected.
I don't know about everyone else but I think firing early on a count is either a rookie or a dick move.
Why the bobcats😭😭?
They are tough on certain livestock and deer.
If that's the best I need to move to Texas and start making my own videos. I know misses happen but holy damn that bobcat at 15ish yards and it took more than 1 shot to drop it.... pathetic.
Christ
some people really be sitting comfortably in their luxurious homes complaining about this, without first hand experience hahaahhahaha the audacity
Shouldn’t laugh but some of it is comedy gold.
Bobcvats eat piglets; Keeps the supply of adult pigs down.
Shooting predators or not is a hard choice. Yeah they kill the hogs but they also kill people's livestock
Trevor Ethun then they shouldn't have farmed that land where the bobcat lives ... say you are the bobcat obviously you eat meat , so it's the your fault for killing in your house on instinct to survive you ..... we humans are a shameful species
Trevor Ethun then they shouldn't have farmed that land where the bobcat lives ... say you are the bobcat obviously you eat meat , so it's the your fault for killing in your house on instinct to survive you ..... we humans are a shameful species
to farm there and not to farm there is another hard choice. But obviously we choose to farm there. its either them or us and again we obviously choose to live.
Frank Wiswell they also can attack your kids and destroy chicken coops
The one guy keeps saying he's gonna smoke a coyote, bobcat, or hog. Looks like he talking about some brand of cigarettes, 'cause these aren't one shot kills, more like woundings first.
Shut your face twat
Who’s always going early? 3, 2, PEW! G’damn Jim! We’re going on 1!
Wasn't one counted first!
At 7:09 excellent shot!
desgraçado poirque matou o lince?
Marcos Lopes tmb quero saber o pq
Maldito mano
You guys are the reapers of hogs lol !
What is the weapon you guys are using and the ammo. I plan to get into hog hunting and please point me to the rifle, caliber, and optics.
That owl clip was awesome. I wonder what would have happened if the shot missed.
