Spectacular figure, thanks for your excellent work showing us everything he has and how it works. This will be invaluable to me if I can snag one of these, which I desperately want to. It's such a beautiful figure. I have Destro and in many ways I think this GI Joe line is Mezco's greatest achievement.
I never liked the Classified Destro so I was happy when Mezco made theirs. It's definitely my definitive Destro. I kind of wished I would've pulled the trigger on Roadblock but plan on the Firefly. I would like to see a Mezco Baroness, a modern Shipwreck, Lady Jaye, and Zartan.
even without butterfly joints, this is my new fav Mezco. Blade and Bishop are tied for 2nd. Until I get Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow and Duke. Can't friggin wait! Mezco, make Baroness already.
Great review. If he becomes available, I might pick him up. Mezco Destro was easily available and still is. So far, roadblock is sold out at the usual places that I check. If he isn’t easily available, I’m fine passing on him as well. The only 2 that I have pre-ordered is Storm Shadow and Firefly. Anyone else is a wait and see for me.
Nice review, looks like a good fig and i really like the backpack setup and its storage feature. I had this on preorder but cancelled a while back as the classified fills my need and i was sick of waiting for mezco
Good review. I originally passed on this, but doubled back and got him. I like the Roadblock character, and like having him in the retail version and the high-end version. I'd like to get the Mezco Duke, but i have spent way too much money on figures already.
This review just gets me excited for the poncho soldier from Classified 😮 ive been asking for more "realistic" soldiers for so long. Yes i know gi joe has a sci fi element. But thats not my cup of tea. I only collect the figures that kinda resembles contemporary military.
Valaverse Action Force has some pretty solid figures that are realistic and can compliment your Classifieds, I've done some reviews on here for them too
Nice figure, but at the end of the day, I don't see the point. The Classified ones are great by themselves, cheaper, less delicate, will last longer and part of a line with all the other Joe characters. How many of these will Mezco make? 10-12 characters? I'll stick with buying first party Hasbro Classified.
Definitely removing his knee pads. Want him looking as close to the Sunbow cartoon as possible. I will also never have him wear that ugly vest and helmet. I can’t wait to see Flint.

He's even better than Destro. I might have to pick these up. Walmart Retro 4 inch Roadblock is also based on V1 and is fantastic.
