What's interesting is how close the Halo jumper looks like Hit-n-Run. Just give him Grunt's M-16 and it's 95% there. At first that was going to be my plan for this guy....but that visor helmet with the O2 mask is so darn cool. I may need to get two. If you put the silver glasses on him , the gummy helmet fits tighter.
I've read a lot of people thinking the Hit & Run comparison, but I think this guy is more a modern take on Crazy Legs, but just without the garish red colours.
It is a fun figure . What a time to be a collector ! Collecting four inch modern like five years ago this is the stuff i was hoping for. I really enjoy your vids, thank you. This one video and previous comments i dont see anybody acknowledging the second set of goggles as an option. That is what i decked him out with and i used the action force sniper as a team up with him in my display.
This was the one I most wanted. The Diver was cool but I'd just end up using him as Fodder for either a V2 Snake Eyes or Dr. Fumbles/Trouser Snake. The Infantry I just didn't like his weapons and the gimmick with the vest and pouches. The Marine has some cool stuff, but the female Joe bucks have to many sci fi tech armor pieces. But the HALO Jumper looked great and came with good accessories. Only thing I would have liked to have had them add would be maybe a masked up head, maybe some different better weapons. Oh and I still wish Hasbro would put the articulated swivel for the NODS that they used with Wolf Spider. They figured it out, start using it on all the helmets that come with the damn night vision.
Looks great, I do wish he had a different head but I did pass on airborn so it doesn’t affect me. Can’t wait for the next figure they decide to do next
I think this figure looks pretty cool for an army build. Not crazy about the weapons colour, the silver tint goggles but with a repaint they could look good, particularly if the weapons are stiff. I like the camo pattern paint on the BDU and the head sculpt. I am guessing the vest and belt/leg harness is moulded on? I would have liked to see that be removable. Thanks for the review Mr Bee, I’ll be keeping an eye out for this figure. PS I wish the helmets could have been made with a close strap so you could put them on properly. As they are I think the straps are too short even if you wanted to connect or glue them together somehow it wouldn’t work. Just something I would like to see.
Like you said, I want to see those cats from _Adventure Team_ (with animal companions,) and an Action Guardian in the _Legacy Series._ The Space Force needs their representative in the _Classified Series._
Knowing hasbro we get another set of 4 action soldiers in different color or change around male to to females and females to male figures. The halo drop solider looks solid. Agree with you a bendable hose, keep the dog tags for the last two and silencer for the pistol was needed to make it great. Still looks like a figure to have. Maybe release it again with different head sculpt and make it to a navy seal with water gear…
Cool figure, but I was hoping it would be more like the Ripcord coming with the Dragonfly. Who knows when we'll actually see that figure in the main line.
@@beesbattlegrounds I'd expect Hasbro to leave the mainline version of Ripcord off their release schedule until they're satisfied they've made as many sales as they can wring out of the Halo Jumper. Ripcord will essentially be the same figure but with fewer gear options and a different paint scheme.
I loved this figure. The diver is my favorite but all 4 are great. I think they should keep these going and get us every single military class. I'd buy them all and they are troop Buildable for the Joes
Heard a rumor that one of the legacy figures is a firefighter of some sort (seems kind of a bizarre choice to me but 🤷🏻) the original line did have one tho
Wish the parachute was designed better. One strap to hold it on? The amount of force would rip it right off. Wheres the reserve chute? Looks more like just a backpack.
When they're choosing weapons for these characters, do they haphazardly just throw randon selections in? The more you point out these mismatches, the more I wonder how they choose who gets what. This time it's the pistol that doesn't work with the supressor. Interesting.
I believe the shoulder patch says "HALO Legionnaires". I also believe I've given myself permanent eye strain trying to see it. Lol! I thought this was going to be my favorite of the 60th figures, but I ended up liking the Sniper figure more (I don't like the ghillie suit). The HALO figure is cool, and I love the old school woodland camo. I wish Hasbro would just tool a really good M4. I never have enough of those, but instead we keep getting these guns, or that goofy double barreled AR.
I got two of the Marines for the display options they look cool but I am probably going to go back and get two of the action soldiers because technically the joes don't have any certified troop builders yet. Even though theses things are the 60th anniversary figs.... These are cold -af! Nice review 🐝's
Looking forward to seeing Hit & Run. HALO and Sniper should be here this week. I wonder if Hasbro will do an astronaut as a nod to the 30th annual 3 3/4 5 pack🤔
I wonder how they can make hit and run any different than this guy (other than accessories)? Almost exactly the same figure without the helmet and visor. Even the alternate helmet looks similar to what hit and run would have.
I bought 2 Fortnite gliders to paint them for the Joes.. They come with open solid plastic parachutes I wonder putting it under the cloth one to spread it open would work for having him displayed that way? Soon find out I gess when he releases over here hehe.
I'm passing on this like I did the soldier & sailor, but I might get a couple of Sailor if I catch them on sale. I'm going to definitly get 2 of the Action Marine - Sniper.
Why does Hasbro insist on always giving us those guns in a group of 3? Why cut out the dog tags? What did they cost to make 5 cents! Still this is a very very nice set by Hasbro. A must have in my collection!
The guns are molded together. It's easier to just fill the entire mold with plastic, then it is to plug part of the mold off. That's why we often get the same accessory combinations on different figures.
The reuse of the disappointingly small Airborne body and mediocre accessories makes this an easy pass for me. The only one of the four that I liked in this subline was the Action Soldier, as it turned out. Really sad to me that they just punted after a promising start to this subline, but at least it's saving me money. I really appreciate your detailed looks at all the figures so I knew which to buy and which to skip, Bobby.
Now I know Gi Joe is Scifi. But with this line I was hoping for just a smidge of research. Could they not give us a Ram Air parachute instead of a ww2 static line mushroom? The guy is in modern HALO (as close as) gear and we get such a crap parachute.
Honestly really disappointing this figure is. A literal repaint of airborne sold as a troop build. No suppressor or dog tag (arguably the most important accessory for an anniversary figure) and a very confusing direction. Like how the flip is the figure both a pilot and halo jumper… makes no sense.
Yeah, I'm with you. A pilot's flight suit/gear and survival vest are very different from a HALO jumper's. I guess if Hasbro is going for one 60th anniversary troop from each branch of service, they could have just made this figure a more specific USAF Pararescue or Combat Controller instead of trying to kill two birds with one awkward stone.
the attachment point for the parachute is dumb. is see it ripping the chute bag lid off. I feel the halo helmet and breather are meant for another figure since they fit so loose. maybe a future figure. action Marine is garbage.
Hope is legacy is WWII figures that would be super cool
1/12 scale WWII would be fantastic

The Marine and Sailor are my favorites followed by the Soldier, and the HALO Jumper.
Eh... the "Marine " is a disappointment.
It's a weak representation.

I would want like female(and male) variants of all the four we got, nothing crazy as far as wishlist lol
A female diver would be awesome
A female diver buck would be good for a Baroness, Lady Jaye, etc...
@@beesbattlegrounds hell yeah 🍑
Looks awesome! I love this line. Can't wait to get mine.

For me Army Infantryman is #1 of the whole line. Probably because I’m 11B, next up marine “sniper” 😅, than halo and last but not least the diver
I'm not sure which order I'd put them in, the Marine is definitely fun, same with the jumper
The soldier is solid, the diver is awesome... I hate the "Marine"...
I love this figure! one of my favorites atm!
Based on some leaked Gear from overseas, my guess is a firefighter because of the prybar and oxygen tank
That would be interesting
👍🏿👍🏿
A cool review of a cool set!
This is cool and all. But for the series lets see some 6inch GI.JOE Resolute figures!!!
@@michaelterrell9645 you know I'm all for some Resolute stuff!!

Recon Team - Action Marine Sniper, Low Light, Tunnel Rat, Sneak Peak
Sky Patrol - Rip Cord, Freefall, Airborne, Crazy Legs, Airwave, Static Line, Altitude, Halo Jumper
Navy Seal Team - Torpedo, Wet Suit, Shipwreck, Tracker, Action Diver.
Assualt Team - Grunt, Sgt Stalker, Leatherneck, Rock and Roll, Roadblock, Duke, Action Soldier.
I always want the Rangers as my squad: Duke, Stalker, Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Beach Head, Falcon. Throw in Flint too

Supposedly, they are going to keep making these. They are going to change the name from 60th Anniversary to Legacy.
@@johnlogan9427 Thats great news because they are awesome!
He looks great, but another fig I ended up canceling. Hopefully I'll be able to get a deal on him Blk Friday.
Review 👏🏼 👏🏼 👍🏼👍🏼
I wanted more like Ripcord style instead of Airborne. We are already getting him with the Dragonfly so its not like the dont have the mold already.

Beats me. I wish they'd just kind of design an AR style for the Joes and an AK style for the Cobras and keep with it
@@beesbattlegrounds That would be a good idea. Make it even easier.

Awe the Halo jumper with a T10 and not an RA-1😂

Nice review. Need more parachutes. This is basically Ripcord for me
Yeah he's got enough "character" to be his own instead of an army builder

A rehatch/recolor of old parts. The weapons are still as bad as ever design and quality wise. 6 inch is not an armybuilder line.
Zero interest in buying any of these generic soldiers
This is the only one I picked up.
