@@beesbattlegrounds so far, prob just the praetorian. it should have been col siege, but the paint on the butterfly showing thru, and the t-shirt tuck thing was weird. the other big thing is all of the paint apps seem totally washed out (on a couple other reviews i've seen - looks like they need a dry brush or something). looks TOO plastic-y compared to monster force and recent classifieds on the shelf
The sniper rifle is an h.c.a.r, which is from my research a modern b.a.r.. And I got all three of those, Siege, and Night Senshi, with senshi getting me all the action force bbts exclusives
I’m not crazy about the hand sculpts on this figure, the breathable mask is an interesting touch on the sculpt. The green on the boots and gloves look quite bright to me on camera anyway. The grey knee pads I guess change the colour scheme up a bit. Thanks again for the review.
I purchased the gear pack to use on my delta trooper. It looks really good but I had a very difficult time getting the vest and the belt latched. A lot of heating with a hair dryer and stretching made it work!
I’m in for two of these guys with gear packs…mostly because I’m using Valaverse for army building. Got the weapons pack too…mostly for that same reason, but also because while Hasbro weapons are mostly improved these days, they don’t stand up to the concrete-like packaging. I want my bag-o-chips back.
Basically the figure looks good with or without gear. I think the gas-masked head from the tactical head pack suits him better than the helmet with the scope. Great review as always. 🍺

I picked up Atlas, Side Winder, two Troopers, Weapons Pack India and 5 Gear packs. Passed on Siege cuz his "jacket" looks awkward because of the way Vala does the shoulders, and passed on Senshi cuz he just didn't look good to me with all the samurai stuff
Yeah just got a few of mine in and agreed not a fan of the pegs for this vest with feeling tight and over time I just see it breaking so having it worn loose for time being
I like the Recon trooper, and the gear pack. I love chest rigs in real life, so I was pretty stoked to finally see one. As a gun guy in real life, I have to say, that weapon pack sucks. The HCAR is laughable as a sniper rifle. They can be very accurate, but they are unreliable, and the mag is so long it makes it hard to shoot prone. They are basically an expensive novelty gun in real life that toys with the concept of a modernized BAR. Those Chiappa Rhino revolvers are atrocious. I hate them worse than the Maxim 9. The flame thrower's not my thing, but I really like the new Vector style rifle. The HK pistol is pretty cool, and I don't hate the shotgun. The grenade laucher is kinda lame, but it's not the worst thing ever. The AR/M203 that comes with the trooper is basically a slightly less sucky version of that goofy AR/M203 that came with the first Bone Collector and Scarab. I like the 2011, but the slide, with it's texture/design, doesn't look as good in silver, IMO. I like the Honey Badger style SBR that the trooper comes with. It's so much better than the weapons that were included with the older troopers. My last gripe (I know there's been a lot!) is with the flat dark earth weapons. As I said, I'm a gun guy in real life, and the whole FDE craze hit strong about 10 years ago. It got old quick. If you are in a desert it's cool, but FDE has just been overplayed. I like color, but much prefer grays and greens. I know these are toys, but I still have the same taste firearms wise whether it's a real gun or an action figure weapon. I guess it's like only wanting Hot Wheels cars based on real vehicles you like. Thanks for all the awesome reviews!
So I betting Bobby Vala has watched many 80's and 90's and the m4 /m16 style rifle with a Grenade launch slung under was used by all the Good Guys starting for me in Predator. And Leatherneck and there might be others used to come with one back in the 80's. I know when I get Leatherneck he will be carrying that rifle to replace the Hasbro gimpy nerf Rifle he comes with
I think the gear pack might look good on Flint. Colors seem to match. The 203 looks like the Predator rifle. I don’t know how I feel about the tans on the weapon packs. It’s probably bc I like the black, green and silvers. Those dual pistols are ass. They’re about as bad as the maxim pistols.
I've been watching your Valaverse reviews for Series 5. The colors for most of this series are just a little bold. I understand that everything can't be OD green, but Im just not interested in the newer figures other than the Pretorian.
Coco smooth the casual collector has two videos about these figures and the vests specifically detailing how the belt, and the load barring vest don’t clasp. Out of all the figures released in this wave the only figures worth getting is the Recon Corps, and the Reaper driver. Best figures in series five. The other figures in the wave don’t even look like they belong in the same line. By the way there is nothing dumber than carrying grenades on your legs exposed. It’s just ridiculous.
Damn. Didn't order the trooper or the gear pack. Now eye'm going to have to wait until they go back up. Looks better in your video than the pics and renders. Has to be a step forward if for nothing other than the new body types.

We just managed to survive the Maxim 9 obsession; just to immediately fall into the Rhino revolver slippery slope. That sucks.

I think you stuck the flame effect for the flame thrower upside down. flame tips go up.

They don't, but the old ones will still fit into the new ones

I have not yet! I think some are interchangeable but others aren't. Depends on the figure

Color scheme isn't working for me. Bobby loves using these bright greens. These would of been better greay and black

Green and black are ok to me. I'm pretty sure the Delta (green) and Spec Ops (black) are the most requested to be reissued/re-released troopers
