Outstanding run! How many of those extra mph do you think were from prewarming the LIPOs?
    Sorry you had some damage.

Thanks Brian!👊 I really have no experience heating batteries, this was the first time I heated and over charged so I'm really not sure, but the pass before this one it went 158mph! and that's with the exact same setup but with a normal charge and no heat to the batteries so 7mph on this one but not sure if heat is the only reason for the gain!?🤔 Something else to learn!😅
You should do some studies on the subject, should make for some interesting content!? Thanks again buddy!👍

A whole lot of heat is generated while stopping, I didn't know that at first, Esc and motor, that's crazy, makes sense though, being that the motor is doing the stoppping also.
Good run partner, hope you figure out what happened, always good to know, so we won't repeat it.
    We're forever learning.

Yeah, I'm just realizing that myself as I push for higher speeds! It melted a bullet off one of the motor wires, so I resoldered all of them and everything seems to be working fine again! Yep, always learning, sucks when it's the hard way! Thanks buddy.👍👊

Very fast. Congratulations on your PB. I think the motor overheated when you got on the brakes. Motors get very hot from braking.

Thank you, I appreciate your input!👍👊 I think your right because it felt way wrong when I hit the brakes, it acted like I applied full brakes and almost skid to a stop at the end of the pass, when I really only applied light braking!? It all seems to be fine after I resoldered all the bullets back on! 😂

Really interesting, I just did something similar AND it happened under braking aswell. I had turned my brake force up just prior to my run. Note to self, turn brake force back down 😂 Subbed to you mate!

@@TheSpeedySpot It is interesting to learning this stuff isn't it! I'm very thankful for the input from fellow speed runners out there helping others out!👍 Thanks for the sub buddy.👌👊

    Great pass man
Sucks about the overheating. The motor probably will be weaker after that.
Did the esc go out as well?

It seems to be okay; I resoldered all the motor bullets and everything is working fine. I've made several soft passes since, so I guess I got lucky!? So far! Thanks for the support partner!👍👊

@@micron3268 see how it does. The magnets in the motor will begin to weaken around 180-190 degrees because you can imagine the temps inside the motor are hotter
