biggest issue for me is being at the mercy of the wind tunnel i live in as soon as i leave the house, even a minute of walking can make it wavy despite efforts/flat iron before leaving this is slightly mitigated by blasting my hair with the cool setting once i style it, something i wish i learned sooner love your products love your channel though, glad to see your stuff got restocked on silkhaar, although i ordered two Volume Shampoos and they sent me two Pures! I'm sure i'll be fine though! Would actually like to see a flat iron tutorial for all hair types, i try to use it only on the ends and very very briefly but i still feel im never doing it right
@@nerolivesYeh exactly same, wavy is so gooood. When I want straight, I get it, when i want curls I get it, when I want waves well i already got it😅. It's so versatile all you need to straighten is a brush and a minute of your life
Read, you will need 7 hair products. After his explanation I thought I could share some TLC for you. 1-apply a leave in treatment in form of spray , comb it through. 2-apply your blowout styling products, grab your brush, dryer, and dry your hair! 3- to use Flat iron afterwards to make that style last for up to 3 days or more and providing you don’t put a drop of water on it 😂 b4 the iron spray a heat protection spray such as Redken 22, or whatever you like that says Iron protection. On each section then you pass the flat iron, once you’re done, grab a drop of serum to calm down any fly away you may end up with. Start on ends working your way up to mids 4- lastly, spray a good anti humidity hair spray to seal in your style and give it memory last. So you will need in your repertoire, 1-smoothing shampoo, 2-conditioner 3 a weekly mask 4-live in spray, 5- flat iron protector 6-hair serum 7- anti humidity hair spray.
This technique really helps straighten it out but not so it's flat against my head. Might not last as long as I want but I can tame my chia head easier with the blow dryer
hello @TheSalonGuy ive got a problem with my hair PLEASE, do u have some advice. im an asian male and i have dry hair, everyone in my family has straight hair, and with my hair its REeallyy weird. When i dry my hair normally like not touching it, somehow my hair just curls into some sought of "S" shapes across my fringe so its like really wavy. and even though after i shower i brush/comb it, it still becomes curly at the front. Ive been trying to get rid of my wavy front hair, but i dont know what to do or what caused it, because i never had this problem when i was young. Thanks, pls reply:')
Half Asian here. I have the same exact problem. My hair is super annoying like that. The best thing I've done to combat that is try and blow dry from the top of my head. So I usually blow dry using cool air from right above my head. Once it's not sopping wet, I then use warm air and continue to blow straight down. Once it's somewhat dry, you can then style it how you want. Continue to apply warm air and go between styling your hair and continuing to blow from the top. You gotta make sure you do this until your hair is completely dry. Otherwise, you risk walking away *thinking* your hair is fine and then when it fully dries it curls up again. My hair is very stubborn so it doesn't always work, but that's one of the best solutions I've found for my hair. Hopefully it helps you!
@@s.s_austin the thing is ive tried blow drying my hair and stuff, but it becomes hellllaaa dry. how do i make it silky n stuff. ive tried coconut oil, argon oil, conditioner, etc.
@@austinlaij2589 Unfortunately, I don't think it's really possible to do that. That's just how our hair type is. Any blow drying or treatment used will just end up losing its effect once you wet your hair again. Now, I do know of something called "straight perms" that act like a perm but instead of making your hair curly, it makes it straight. I'd look into it and if you're REALLY wanting to make your hair straight, go to your barber and ask for it. If you do go down that route, please let me know how it goes! I'm at the point where I'm considering it myself but I'm afraid of how it might turn out. Hopefully we can straighten this out together Edit: I guess it's called a relaxer? Not a "reverse perm" ask your barber for the right terminology cause I'm just googling this stuff
@@Togi_ya I haven't actually heard of that until you mentioned it. After glossing over a quick article it seems nice, until I see that it's permanent. That's probably the biggest downside because I'm unsure if I'd want my hair to be like that forever. Plus, results can be skewed depending upon how your hair already is. It can either not work, work, or work too well. And by work too well I mean that it has the potential to look more straight than naturally straight hair. Plus, it can be really expensive and time consuming. For those reasons, I don't think I'd go down that route. BUT, if you really want straight hair and are willing to commit to it, then I can't see any reason to not do it. Lemme know if you do get it, and what the results are!
I have very curly hair and naturally, it's already very voluminous, how do I smooth it out and flatten the back(like 1,5-2 inches) towards the middle? which brush do I use?
can you put hair straigthers on it as well? cause i had a freind in college who had kinda straightish wavy hair & he said he straightened his hair when he went out places however he came in to college with pin straight hair one day he short back & sudes & bit long ontop
