Aside from the brilliant songwriting, Gorillaz owe a huge debt to the creativity of UK dance culture. The varied beats, grooves and sounds underlaying Damon's melodies provide a constantly fresh, quirky and surprising soundscape that is always danceable. I don't think this could have come out of the US.
A prescient song from a prophetic album.
This live version of the song is hands down one of their best.

Is this about when Damon began intentionally changing his lyrics during live performances, for seemingly one reason alone: his own gratification?

My internet connection is not really good enough to upload an entire video show, plus the Glastonbury performance of Gorillaz was actually separated on three different BBC TV channels (depending on the tracks), so it would take a huge time to put everything together, and I don't really want to waste it for that ^^
However, I believe that if you search a bit some kind of website, you can easily find it.
