Baseball as a Road to God: Dr. John Sexton

"Dr. John Sexton, author and President of NYU, will give a talk on his book, "Baseball as a Road to God," on April 11 at 7:00pm in the St. Thomas of Villanova Church on the campus of Villanova University. In his book, Sexton illuminates the surprisingly large number of concepts shared between baseball and religion: faith, doubt, conversion, miracles, and even sacredness. Sexton elegantly demonstrates that baseball is more than a game, or even a national pastime; it can be a road to enlightenment."
