"Don't do it cause you love the product"
Why would you do it if you DON'T love the product though? You gotta have passion for your craft to make it work. I think a better way to phrase it would be "don't do it if you're addicted to the product".

Don't do it if you're a drunk😂 do it because you have a passion for the business itself.

the only people who confused what he said was you and everyone else who thinks saying "I like pancakes" is the same as saying "I hate waffles!" :D
"don't (just) do it because you love the product" was very easy to understand!

He sounds so robotic when speaking. You can tell he strategically uses his hands, angles his head, and smiles about every 4-5 words. Sounds like he’s speaking to a large group of people vs just one person.

that is called public speaking skill! :D hope this helps

This is a good video with solid advice, but let's be very clear, this video is from a Managers perspective, not an entrepreneur's.
There is a difference between the two and it is very important that you know that.

Is there a book that teaches you how to be the general manager of a restaurant? As in what you do on a daily basis and with clear examples.

I want to run a bar, but I'm concerned about safety issues. Like what happens when you go to close up late at night, and there's people waiting outside to jump you and stuff like that? Also, what about cash transport...do I need to have a Brinks cash pickup service or something like that?

I find the best way to get this information (rather than online bc every state/city is different) is to network with bar owners in the area you would like to do this in. As for safety...that's what bouncers are for.

Safety issue is definitely something I think about in the bar I’d love to own. I want it to have a tavern theme and possibly a mechanical bull
