Thanks for featuring Burmese food. A lot of people don’t know that we’ve got amazing food in our culture. As a Burmese living abroad we are always grateful to find Burmese food vendors. He presents it beautifully. All the best !
WHAT....Burmese food is AWFUL?! It's the bermuda triangle of food ..Surrounded by Thailand, China and India and somehow it turns into awful oily chicken curry and raw vegetables....The only place I ve ever had. edible burmese food is outside of Myanmar
Excellent video. Love the cultural spread of paratha (India), palata (Burma), prata (Singapore) or roti canai (Malaysia). Whatever you call it, whatever you douse it in, it always looks delicious !!
The moment I heard Palata, I was like sounds so similar to our Paratha! Then I started looking out for a comment to confirm it and, I found yours 😄 Thank you so much 😇
I'm of Indian ethnicity and have family who grew up in Burma so I've been eating Ohno Kaukswe my whole life! It's cool to see a dish like this on a mainstream RUclips channel!
This gentleman deserves his own food network show!!!! 👍👍👍👏👏👏 He’s quick at preparing everything he needs for the crazy crowd AND still able to talk the viewers through about everything he’s doing and the complete background with fluent English!!! Much respect, sir! I’d love to try your delicious-looking Burmese food when I get to Queens one of these days. 👏👏👏
i've been trying to reconnect with my burmese heritage and this video was so incredible to watch. ive eaten bean powder in a lot of things growing up but didn't know it was a staple, especially in a dish like ohno kauswe. thank you, BA, for highlighting my family's food!! 💕
One of my favorite markets so far and I’m glad I went to Queens the night I was in NY …. One of his chefs was so cool and allowed me to get a video of him making and cooking the bread! The ramen was 🔥🔥❤
We’ve been going to the queens night market since it 2018…he is hands down my favorite! It’s my first stop there, my last stop there and sometimes my only stop!
Burmese food sounds like a cross between Indian and Thai food. I'm sold! How have I not heard more about Burmese cuisine before? Also, this guy is amazing!
What are you talking about? If you took all the worsr foood in Thailand and all the worst food in india and soaked in garbage then you would get Burmese food
Wow! I didn't even realise that I ate his parathas! The crowd was loaded that night so my aunt & uncle gave me those parathas cuz i was starving...Also great to see a Burmese food being represented in such a market!
I am very proud of our burmese food. Our foods are delicious and he explained everything in detail. I wish I could try his food one day. Thanks for presenting our burmese food.
Thank you for presenting Burmese Foods. Our Burmese Foods are really flavourful and delicious. Thank you for cooking and selling Burmese foods . Proud of you . Hope your business is going well and more successful.
Great presentation by this fellow SE Asian (I'm a Filipino culinary enthusiast). In many ways our Malay race is Indo-Chinese. The palata looks masarap to me (that's Filipino for delicious).
what’s more fascinating about Burmese food is there’s no strict tradition way, there’s just the style. it’s just the way how you prepare it and if you do it to taste better, most of the people accept it
I'm yelling at my screen watching this, like a sporting match. Everything looks spectacular. I've never tried Burmese food, but going to find a restaurant in the city thia week.
I heard the accent and immediately went: "Yeah this guy's definitely Burmese." He speaks English better than most Burmese people but the accent is still there.
get this guy a show! He explains things so well. And Burmese food isn't represented as much as it should!
Do they still do that festival in kew gardens?
I completely agree!!! Get him a show! Love his personality!
How ? He literally repeated himself multiple times. It got so annoying
Agreed
@@ar3267 not everyone's first language is English, he already explaining so well in other language.
His food is delicious and he has a stall at the mall as well. So happy there’s becoming more Burmese representation! Burmese food deserves to shine 🤩

Parata - Bangladesh
No sugar please!
Its called parotta in India paratha is made with whole wheat.
The moment I heard Palata, I was like sounds so similar to our Paratha! Then I started looking out for a comment to confirm it and, I found yours 😄 Thank you so much 😇
I like it with sugar for breakfast.

Big Respect to all these vendors for bringing their micro kitchen and their different dishes to a parking lot...

As a half Burmese person, it's tragic that Burmese cuisine is so under represented in the US.
As a burmese person, I am so happy that he cooks all burmese foods perfectly and look very delicious🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤.
The coconut noodle soup is some heavenly stuff. I feel bad for those who never have tried it.
can't recommend more!

Just got a job at Walmart deli and I'm on my last break of the day after cooking all day, watching more cooking 😂
Looks delicious though!
The recent spotlight videos and the Hong Kong videos hit the spot! Love these much better than the "re-casting" attempt of the older material.
Wow, he's amazing.
As a burmese, he explain everything.
And he didn't change his accent kinda sounds like burmese accent.
Thank him so much.

This is literally the best booth at the Queens food market.
Plata, is common in Singapore , Malaysia and Indonesia.
It's known as Roti Paratha, served with curries and it's a famous breakfast dish.
