- Its my favourite time of year, when the temperatures soar, and the only thing left to do is find a place to cool off!
I have been really busy filming private property tours for clients that I haven't really had a chance to film a Farm Life episode for my channel.
While riding to the dam for a swim I decided I needed to vlog again even if it was going to be done on my phone!

I wish it was possible to film that underwater ghost town. Imagine how amazing!!
Unfortunately it's very murky water. The only way would be with sonar imagery. There are very fancy and expensive underwater drones with 3d colour sonar, image capability, but I'd need a lot of money to get that out here 😅👍
The swim will clear your head after the tequila. Lovely and peaceful. Be safe ❤️

Fortunately the watersnakes here are harmless. They are called Viperine water snakes. They look dangerous but won't bite you.

Our first trip is officially booked. We land in lisbon June 21 and will be there until July 3rd. Hopefully everything goes right and we can get our move finally started and with all luck be moved there by 2026

Hello there! good to have you back and thanks for the update. It looks very beautiful around the dam. Portugal is actually not far from parts of Africa so I am not surprise you can see some similarities in the view around the lake. Keep enjoying your summer.

The cemetery had to be respectfully repositioned before flooding. But houses remain…

@@user-id4uo8kc1p we are on some bikes that we were given by a brand called Engwe bikes. They are really great for the money. Gina's ebike is called the Engwe L20 and she really loves it! It's very comfortable and you can ride it like a moped. The battery life is really good too for a whole afternoon of adventuring 😊
