This was fantastic. I love how you gave every match and competitor amsa faced context. I especially liked showing all the amsa mang0 sets throughout the years in quick succession right before grands. All the miscellaneous clips like the Monday Morning Marth stuff were really fun too lol All the text you used looked super aesthetically pleasing (very professional looking) and the music choice was very nicely varied and helped set the variety of moods you were going for. I'm definitely looking up these tracks on my own time later. The amsa retrospective pg stats is gonna make for amsa in 2023 will probably be very different from this video, but I'd be happy if it turned out half as enjoyable as this one was. Well done.

S2j, wesballz, and sfat had been trying for years to break into the upper echelon of competition, and here was this yoshi, beginning to make people question what they thought they knew about the game. Absolutely wild.
i remember watching him top 8 and then top 5 a major and believing he could do it one day, that was almost ten years ago now. I think he knows how long we were waiting for this

This is my 2nd favorite video, all time, aside from Mang0 the musical. I think if 20:37 were the starting sequence, I'd watch this video more often. I still might, but the opening sequence of Mang0 the Musical (and strategic use of song lyrics) really grab me and bring me back. Frankly, thanks for making this type of content though - It is one of the few relics of today's day and age that I can point to and say, "This. This is my reason to live."
I think the smash doc put melee back on the map for a lot of people. I was definitely one of them. I started competing because of it. Your vids are putting melee.on the map again, opening up a love for the game that people didn't know they had. Showing off the long storylines behind some of the best players, pairing it with great music, and making the game look sick. Last part you have a help with though, cus this game is fucking siiiiiick.
