It is incredibly sad for those who were betrayed, scammed by people from their own company. They are people with dreams who want to succeed. Also, most fans don't realize the hard work and the money they company needs to have in order to produce, concerts, etc. I am sure most years they struggle a lot, and the fans don't even know. I pray this doesn't happen to BTS personal accounts. I hope they are always watching into their finances.
Running a business is not a side gig, the business side requires 100% of your attention - which leaves no room for the artistic side. That’s just fact, it’s necessary to pick a lane, do what you are good at and leave the business side to the professionals. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
It's a sad fact that most people have no respect for business managers and the manager side of things. These are very important if you want to have a successful business.
It got me thinking that with all this that you need to know and understand and with just 1 group who ends up working like crazy to keep that tiny label standing and be able to pay all the staff and to then get something themself too....I was thinking of Mhj's plans to have her own label....oooh dear the girls get to be soooo mangeld and drained of every strenght they have just to have a label standing. They do sit in a tiny boat all 6 of them and if they move the boat will sink. I have been telling some bunnys exactly this to earn that much so you can pay staff and places you rent for conserts and all the extra and to have some savings for the label to use for the next thing.....but naaah, the 🐇🐰 they don't get it
Remember, MH/ was counting on the put option to have $$$ and stealing Ador... and if possible NJ. Fortunately, her greed got the best of her, and she lost it all... Karma came knocking on her door.
And this right here is what most people saying BTS needs to leave HYBE just don`t get. Hybe is BTS's retirement plan. It's the best way the can invest on a "safe" option with people who are like minded but also have the added bonus of having expertice in the business area. By creating a company that has multiple sources of revenue, aside from music, and is heavily focussing on not depending on BTS as the main source of income, it gives them the posibility of the freedom to be a part of the entertainment industry without being FORCED to be creative just to stay monetarily afloat like older idols who are forced to make comeback every once in a while or enter the modeling/acting business just to try and stay relevant. HYBE gives BTS a certain level of surety for the future and with that comes the freedom to develop their artistry in which ever vein they decide to do it... heck even to just leave the industry all together and find a way to live their lives the way they want to, maybe take some time off to develop relashionship and maybe a family. But we'll have to wait and see. I also have no doubt that in time some of the BTS members may even take certain positions in HYBE and not just Bighit after some developing of their own business abilities, after all some of the have a background in those areas.
Your discussion about Tiger JK may have been misleading. You made it sound like employees of his current Feel Ghood Music had stolen money and put them in debt. I looked up the articles you showed and they were referring to scams that occurred BEFORE establishing Feel Ghood Music that left them little money to start the company. I believe Feel Ghood Music has been pretty successful with a number of popular artists including Bibi.
Because the financial aspect is done by Hybe. KOZ is in charge of the creatives while Hybe on the business side. Each checks the other for the optimal decision. Whether it's on budget, launching new group or album, schedules, etc. KOZ and Hybe need to deliver and put their expertise so B OK tj can succeed.
more businesses fail rather than succeed. most artists have no idea how to run a business.
meanwhile 3 members of blackpink have their own labels and owns their master recordings, queen behavior 💅
This is unfortunate. It is very hard to focus on your artistry and run a business. Both are full time endeavors.
I hope & pray that Bang PD will guide our 7 boys on where to invest their hard working money

I'm hoping D&E make it. SuJu members really support each other's ventures and it's nice to see really
Jay park opened a new label

Agree. Sounds that BoyNextDoor is doing well in the K charts lately.
