    発音の練習にとってもいいです。
    本当に日本人にとって発音しやすい英語です。
    正直日本ではアメリカ英語がいわゆる英語です。なので発音がとても難しいですが、アナさんの英語は本当に日本語話者には、なじみやすいです。

How lovely this story! I realised that I memorise more the words of your podcasts if I only listen to them, without reading the subtitles. I manage to be more focused. I get the needle when my mind starts to go here, there, and everywhere.
Yesterday I went to the beach to say hi to some of my parents' friends. I was on the defensive, aware that I would have asked some annoying questions about my "wild" life, other than the usual and useless pleasantries. In fact, after 5 minutes I was talking with them, replying politely to "how are you?", "are you here on holiday?", etc., they asked me: "what are you waiting for to make a baby?". I defensively replied that it's not on my plans, even though I wanted to reply not politely to mind their own business. That episode darkened my time there on the beach as I was feeling uncomfortable with people judging me. But then my adorable mum came close to me, she showed empathy and asked me to go for a walk close to the sea and a profound sense of peace washed over.
    Thank you Anna ❤

absolutely agree, empathy could be even so tough for your health. I was in charge in a HR department. Every now and then showed up a peer with their family problem or a desease or merely one of their parent passed away. I hate to attend a funeral even my own extended family, is a bitter pill to swallow. Since my mather passed I have not attended none of them anymore. I don't bother what could think my extended family about me.

I have just "discovered" you and think you are doing an excellent job...I have a question: is it possible to set CHAT GPT to BRITISH English. I have prompted her/it to switch to the British English, but...without success.

      Welcome 🤗
ChatGPT has its place and is useful for many things but I find that it falls short with idiomatic language, phonetics, and the nuances of the different varieties of English.

I apologise for all the irrelevant questions... anyway you mantioned in one of ur videos that if we nonnatives want to understand better we need to make our language more idiomatic.... so I asked google how many there are... 25 000. Do you ( Brits) use all of them?

Good question. The answer is no. many of us don’t use all the vocabulary available to us. Some idioms and phrasal verbs are more common than others.
