That is tricky. I would suggest being open and honest about the toxic behaviour within the busines and what actions and behaviour need to start and stop to improve the atmosphere. Think about positive incentives offered to improve behaviour and what incentives could be employed if they don't (other than dismissal). There is a lot a group can achieve with talking, persuasion and commitment. J
Do you know why the boss insults the workers (for example insecurity)? And can you/should you do anything about addressing the issues with them directly or via senior management/HR? The alternative is leaving to work for a boss that appreciates you. Unfortunately, there are rarely any easy options when you are in this tough situation. Do what is best for yourself. J
