To me they expressed those”in between” emotions - not 100% happy or sad, but how we truly feel in our daily lives..

I love these videos because I can SEE changes that correspond to what I hear.
It is really helping me to *understand* music better 🙏🏼
Also-what was the small click/switch you did at the end which made the final repitition sound less trebly?

That’s awesome! Thank you so much for the feedback! I was in the Nord piano live mode, and I had the second patch prepared on button #3 - that what it was :)

I like the voicings and the idea but in which case would you use this? It actually works well as a passing chord from I to IV. Cheers.

At first without your explanation, i do feel the Amaj7 is not "more major" because i can hear the C#minor hidng there. So it is a realy complex feeling for this progression.

Where you inspired by Radiohead's song "Sail to the Moon"? It sounds similar. 😍

I see what you’re saying, but my inspiration for this kind of harmony comes more from the direction of Pat Metheny and Keith Jarrett 😊

With such extraordinary chord changes, I always have to think about which scales or modes you are in. Is there a way to find out quickly? Unfortunately, I never know ad hoc whether it is a certain mode or modal interchange. I hope you can give me a tip. Thank you🙏.

In a lot of cases, it’s just Major or minor.
We’re moving from A major, to the VI degree of Am which is F major.
So it’s a mixture of A major with A minor.
When you solo over it, you can either represent the chords in the form of arpeggios, or, if you want to play more melodically, it’s The A major to Am scale. The changes is what notes you play in the moment of transition to make it smooth. It can be one of the common tones, or, exactly highlight the motion from C - C# I’m showing in the video.
