I’ve heard this, but it didn’t sink in because it was presented from the theoretical perspective around which scale the altered scale comes from. That is more of a structural mental concept, but this way of explaining is about the sounds of the notes themselves and now I get it thoroughly and no doubt I’ll remember this going forward. Another is to simply stick with the Bb chord in the right hand and play an A in the left. That particular passing chord is wonderfully unstable but you are just changing a single note and exploiting a minor 9th between the bass and the tonic of the Bb chord.

Can I ask: I train myself to play V7 from different starting points, I only add the 5b then to these? - 1 whole tone, 2 whole tones: CD F# - playing full cadencas and point out the V7 movement in all inversions from the tonic (CEG > H FG) - sus2b5 / sus4#1 - GBD - add F, lower D a half step - EGB > FGB (half step e up)

This all went over my head. I don't know why the algorithm showed this to me.
