I concur with many others on here, THANKS! I was looking for a vid that would walk me through that. Many show how they can do it solo. They just don't show where all the hardware is located. Thanks, you made my new Bug experiance so much easier.
Noi Moroni Thanks for the short but sweet video on vw body removal. My 1968 beetle was driving me crazy until I saw those two 17mm bolts under back seat. I had rear tires off ground put it back down and walked away then youtube video and there they were.THANK YOU
Thanks dude!!! Really helpful. Just got my floor plans yesterday and thought it was going to be easier till I seen where the outer lip of the floor pan went. Again thanks for the video. Keep on dubbin!!!
brilliant video Thank U but there were 2 front bolts onto front pan bar underneath petrol tank, and 2 suspension arms in between alongside the rear suspension and engine electrics... so do another video, and im still Very Grateful:)
@dodgers9302 There's a couple videos out there but really, once you pull those bolts out two, three guys can lift the body right off it really is as easy as that. Good luck
Please don't take this as rude, why do you record in portrait mode? I don't understand why folks do this. We could see much better content if you rotated your phone 45 degrees.
Good video Brother, more detailed than all the others, much appreciated.
Thank You from San Diego, CA.

very informative.
Thanks!!!
Thank you sir, very good information .
Do you know if the car will be back heavy with the shell off the chassis?
Good video! How heavy do you think the body is? How many people to lift ?
Not heavy at all. 2 to pick up the body and a third to slide under a sawhorse if that’s the route you want.
Thank you for the video, very helpful,
Thanks got to replace my floors too!
Thanks man!!!!!
Helpfull thanks
no bullshit like the vid good job

Luckily he didn't rotate by 45 degrees. That would be silly
This was years ago on my first “smart phone”. If I were to do a video in today’s technology, it would be a lot better. Hope it helped though!
