    👉 Not opera… kidding… is the wind 🤣 That was the second song in the competition "Singer 2017". The organizers of the competition asked Dimash to sing this "simple song”.
    The song is about a guy who built a house and now lives all alone and sad in it ...listening to the howling of the wind outside ...
    This song belongs to the Ukrainian- Russian vocal clown Vitas. (Relates to Videos on RUclips: Vitas sings never live and his voice is always processed electronically)
    However, the Chinese forgot to ask Vitas. The rights holders have sued the Chinese television... unfortunately too late. The Chinese had already put it online and so it stays on the internet forever.
    Vitas (Vitaly Vladasovich Grachev, *1979 Latvian SSR is a Ukrainian- Russian pop singer who mainly sings in Russian. He is also a composer, actor and fashion designer. He claimed that by the age of 12 he had composed at least 1,000 songs.🤣
    * Original video: Vitas - Opera #2 - ruclips.net/video/8-qZD6XHVCA/видео.html (on RUclips videos all performances by Vitas are electronically edited)
    You should watch the full version with nice scenes at the end, feel free to join us, your viewers. The Dears can't get enough of Dimash: At the last moment Dimash saw his father in front of the stage. Dimash was alone in China for a long time and was very homesick... His father's surprise came at just the right time.: ruclips.net/video/hPjEUoPg-ag/видео.html (subtitle)
    * Dimash sings Opera 2 in a funny TV show (2015 or 2016) (subtitle) - ruclips.net/video/oRxOIkzJIiw/видео.html
    That's how it all started: In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home.
    This competition is not a talent show. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers and a mega-star was born overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door.
    “Opera #2” was the 2. song in the competition.
    The competition consisted of 14 rounds over 4 months. The jury consisted of 500 spectators who knew music, not just your average "Joe". They were well screened to be sure they would be able to judge the musicians fairly and competently. With up to 1 billion people watching this TV program and international interest was aroused. The performances were uploaded to RUclips ... and so we became Dimash's Dears.
    The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China ... but he only finished second in the competition because he is not Chinese (conditions have changed: 2018, Jessie J. won).
    Thank you Dears for helping to complete the comment.

    Opera2 was the second performance of The Singer competition in 2017 in China. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.
    The song is in Russian. A language he also speaks fluently. The original was from the famous Russian singer named Vitas.
    The song is very famous and popular in China. And it's no opera song. That’s just the name of the song. The audience already knew what to expect, but were very surprised when Dimash raised the pitch three times. Vitas but only once.
    The man who raises his fist in the air at the end is Dimash’s father. He came from Kazakhstan to support his son. However, Dimash knew nothing about it when he performed.
    I think it was very difficult for him at the beginning. You have to imagine, until this competition in China in 2017 he never was alone. Dimash, like many other Kazakhs, has the tradition of living under one roof with the whole family all together. He lives with his grandparents, parents, a sister, a brother an other relatives in the same house. And now he had to go to China alone, didn‘t know the country, didn‘t know the language, didn‘t know the traditions or livestyle in this country and up to that point he spoke (almost) no English, except maybe „Thank you“ and „My name is Dimash“. Only one interpreter came along and that at the age of 22. He was almost a kid to me then (my son is 20 so I can imagine…). And after that performance he saw his dad. So beautiful and emotional.
    BTW the audience is also the jury.
    During the Opera 2 performance, he flirted with the audience in a way that wasn’t really his habit at the time (fortunately that has changed in the meantime). And afterwards he said that he was really uncomfortable that his father saw him like that🤭. Luckily he didn’t find out until afterwards because I love it when he’s like that on stage🥰.
    Please continue to react to The Singer competition and if possible the stories behind. You can find them on the Gloria Wu channel. As far as I know, on this channel there are no copyright issues and there are also English subtitles. And I always recommend switching them on. In some it is important to understand what the song is about. There are a lot of beautiful, sad and awesome songs to discover. I can also highly recommend the videos from the Gloria Wu channel because they show a little more of the scenes behind the scenes and there are also subtitles from the competitors, some of which are really funny.
    Please continue to react to The Singer competition. I highly recommend the 6th performance Adagio. There he also plays the piano.
    I send you the link with Englisch subtitles for the Chinese competitors.
    ruclips.net/video/c0RAQyy08Os/видео.html
    This is so emotional because he literally sang for survival as he was almost voted out on the last episode on Uptown Funk. That's why he had to give everything at Adagio.
    Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

    The man in the video by the way who appears twice, 2nd time at the end pumping his fist in the air is his Dad who came to surprise Dimash, DQ did NOT know he was coming to visit him while doing this competition. This same video has an extended version - it is really worth it to see DQ see his father in the audience while he is taking his bow.....DQ then runs off stage into his father's arms. Because Dimash is 6 foot 3 inches tall and his Dad is smaller, DQ picks his father up....and the love that these two have for each other is something I have never seen between a father and a son....touching and priceless.....their conversation after is revealing about how humble DQ is as well!!

    Dimash es el 👑🎶🎤 . También es asombroso lo versátil que es , no se encasilla en un solo género, canta de todo y todo lo hace brillante. 🎶🎧 Across Endless Dimensions, Unforgetatble day (festival de gakku ) , Ikanaide , Be with me , Give me your love , Samaltau .

    Watching Jam Hsiao and Lee Q from L.I.O.N. seeing this backstage and realizing they have to follow him always cracks me up. If you watch the full version with English subtitles (I am pretty sure it's on Gloria Wu's channel) you can see the really fun interaction between him and his dad. It's beyond sweet.

    😂 That was a fun reaction. Your facial expressions were priceless. ❤
    I like it, when people realize, that he sings higher in the later rounds. And who can appreciate how out of this world his breath support is. Not everyone does! 😅
    This song is about a man building a shed in the woods and getting scared by the loud wind howling and rattling his home. 😂
    Please react to Samaltau. But find a version with lyrics or look them up beforehand. 😊

    What is your problem that you cannot talk without using bad language . Unacceptable, there are some people who r trying to expose their grandchildren to a really good singer. If u cant find any other words to describe this absolutely enormously talented person it shows a lack of respect.

    • @annlg345
      @annlg345 6 месяцев назад +4

      He used a “bad wording” 3 times in a 6 minute video… Give the guy a break. Today’s youth uses these expressions to show their amazement, whether we like it or not. It is fine. I prefer young people actually watching him, and liking it, even if they “curse” now and then, rather than not watching/discovering him at all. Grandparents that want to show Dimash to their grandchildren (like I do) use Dimash’s channel, not reactions. Peace and love from Belgium ❤.

      Suzanne, your children will learn bad words whether you like it or not. It’s your job to make them understand it is inappropriate. Don’t watch reactions go to Dimash channel. Don’t blame the reactors. You’re such a prude!

      I dont agree it is fine to use those words just because some young pple do. Do we have to accept that as normal just bc they do?

    • @annlg345
      @annlg345 5 месяцев назад

      @suzanne6664 My son (8 years old) learns those words at school from friends too. I try to teach him that they are not appropriate in many settings and what the alternatives are. But I can't put him under a glass bubble. It is part of reality. And I don't show him these reactions, only Dimash's original songs. I also tell him that Dimash is always respectful, polite, and sweet. Best I can do as a devoted Dear and Mom...
