Fun fact for you: Vitas' lawyers wrote to Dimash to never perform Opera 2 again because frankly he outshined Vitas!
Also, you should watch Sinful Passion, Hello (Lionel Richie with a twist), Love is like a dream and Diva Dance. By far his best and they will all guaranteed shock you 100% like SOS did! The singer Jessie J was backstage when Dimash sang Hello and she told her crew to shut up because she was in awe when Dimash gave his best. Please watch these I absolutely love your inputs

I remember blurting out holy f**k after I heard him sing Love is like a dream, maybe just because I couldn't believe how much his voice matured in just 2 years (SOS, opera 2, show must go on, etc are from Singer 2017). Another favorite song is SInful Passion (Sochi 2018), also got a wtf! reaction from me.

All the comments to listen to "Love is like a Dream" are spot on. It's a masterpiece. But if you want the whole experience of getting to know Dimash and watch his progress, you should start with all "The Singer" songs, in chronological order. Then move on to his more recent works, while also checking out his very young videos. There is a feast out there to immerse yourself. You WILL be Dimashified!

Love is like a dream is really great and a more recent performance. But you should absolutely do Sinful Passion, it's just as amazing as SOS, maybe even better.

"Love is like a Dream" is great for seeing his amazing breath control, resonant low register and angelic head voice. "Sinful Passion" however showcases his complete and astounding technical mastery of every aspect of singing. No note is too high for him, no sustain too long, no run too fast, no technique too hard Sinful Passion proves that if singers were cars, the most famous singers in the world would be Ferraris and Porshes.... and Dimash would be the Bugatti "Voiture Noire".

@@--isaac It's beautiful. Pretty much every performance on that show was stunning, except Uptown Funk. The whole Show was just perfect for him: the band, the lighting, the way it was filmed, even the size of the audience - not too small, not to big. I also think the artists have a good amount of say in what their performance should look like.

I'm really biased when it comes to Queen because Queen is my favorite band. I think you'd have to watch that one with a really open mind because he changed it a lot. Vocally, he killed it, but his arrangement was very different and he did not speak a lick of English at the time so he learned it phonetically in a week's time. If you want a Queen cover, I suggest the more recent Queen medley first! 😊 the link is in your other video.

Thank you SO much! Your smile/laugh reactions are exactly how I responded when I first started watching Dimash videos...oh and of course tears too! 😂 Show Must Go On is the next episode of Singer 2017 so it’s a good choice. Dimash barely spoke English at that point (MUCH improved now 2 years later) and so the pronunciations aren’t great, but the performance is. I think you’ll really like his interpretation of the song. THEN watch Love Is Like A Dream...perfection!!! Btw, I think we can consider you a Dear now...that’s what Dimash has names his fans because we are so dear to his heart!!! 💗💗💗

The Singer is a competition with professional singers
You have now done episode 1 (SOS), and episode 2 (Opera 2) of The Singer 2017. Episode 3 is "The Show must go on". I would LOVE if you keep going with The Singer - there are so many brilliant performances from Dimash that will blow you away.... 🙏🙏

Hi Caleb, Excellent reaction, likie you I heard the Vitas version years ago and was impressed but Dimash takes it to another level, so much so he was threatened with a lawsuit from Vitas threatening him not to sing it again !! Yeah theres so many vids and performances for you to see now, the "Show must go on" is next Ep3, he was also asked to do a duet with Super vocal boys on this years Singer 2019 when all the contestants have to duet with someone and they did an amazing Queen medley … Brilliant. "Love is like a dream" is very recent Moscow performance and is phenomenal !!! 👌👌👌👌😊😊

It is simply a joy, that a vocalist like you is also so thrilled by his performance. I would rather go to a Dimash concert once a month and meet other fans, but in 🇩🇪 Germany there is no Dimash only concert unfortunately, and not everybody is able to fly to kasacstan to see him. Hopefully we see a lot of clips from his next sold out huge Concert in nur-sultan end of June named Arnau. You are right. Dimash is a wonderfully entertaining performer on stage in addition to being a masterful vocalist. You should keep going with the Singer 2017 performances. Ep 3 "show must go on" ep 4 "late autumn" and ep 6 "adagio"

Here in the Singer 2017 competition , he's just 22 and has already showed so much talent. Now at 25, he's the best, world class. Any cover that he did, he brought those songs to higher level because of new arrangement. They're all incredible and mind blowing. BTW, you will never hear Dimash sings Opera 2 again:-(. The group of Vitas banned him from singing the song. It's obvious why? Everyone knows.
