I stopped collecting action figures back in 1999, but I do look forward to watching new episodes of Toy Federation weekly, feels like watching classic football highlight reels lol
The marvel 3.75 figures are still my personal favorite figures and I enjoy posing them from time to time and they are just nice to look at and the accessories were awesome ,really wish DC did the same back then would of been a hit for us 3.75 colectors
Bobby, a friend of mine is a massive Boon Dock Saints fan, if you ever do Valaverse figures of those characters, I'd definitely make him aware of them!
Only recently became aware of the Willow line. Saw the movie in theatres multiple times, but living in a small town limited our toy exposure and choices otherwise I'd have probably gone all in.
Midnight Nation was a good series. I think I fell off when there was a random break. That early 2000's image era had some good books coming out. I think that's where current image really got going with good creator driven books. Wildstorm was still there too so Jim Lee's Stormwatch universe was at its best. Sleeper from Brubaker and Phillips is still a damn good super hero spy series from out of that imprint.
I think it is perfectly reasonable for new Marvel Legends collectors to expect to be able to find Venom (or Deadpool, Wolverine, Spider-Man). Seems like Hasbro is dropping the ball not making sure that Marvel's most popular characters are always available to be an entry point for potential collectors.
I mainly collect Transformers and Lego, but finally picked up some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles this year, and a couple of He-Man and Skeletor figures.
Such a sweet toy store. I had no clue Valaverse was in Rhode Island where I live that’s pretty sweet to know. Valaverse is my favorite military figures great sculpts articulation accessories and detail the weapons are extremely good an they don’t come bent outta the box like some lol
Watching you collect imso happy for the logic I have towards how I collect, I only collect the best 1:12 version of whatever character I want!!! I make exceptions for McFarlane, but I want modern, if his is shitty I'll buy mafex or mezco. Diamond select has awesome big figures. But I'll be honest other then big select figures might just grab the whole FF!!!!🤷🤷
I know that's not how you designed the Scorpion figure Bobby , but i have that figure, i love it and prefer no cowl mouth because that's how he was originally drawn on his first appearance in issue amazing spiderman 20.
Did… did Bobby really say that he like Melissa Benoight as supergirl???? While standing next to the smallville figures which had the best supergirl actress of all time??? 🤯
I’m not surprised that Marvel Legends out sells McFarlane DC Multiverse three-to-one according to Toy Federation. The line has been around much longer and more people collect the scale. I would say that since McFarlane is offering more Platinum figure variants that it is increasing the price of their figures on the secondary market.
Concerning the secondary market, I'm not paying HasLab prices for a VAMP. Hasbro needs to make more VAMPs since they screwed the pooch on distribution to begin with. At this point, they're just enriching the scalpers. I'm also going to buy a Vanguard as soon as the remodeling in the living room and kitchen is done...😅
Awesome to see Bobby is a Power Rangers fan. Just received my pink steel brigade figure on Friday, got me thinking, I'd love a few more in certain main colors... A powerful team of brigade.. rangers? If you will? Also I emailed the team months ago about a missing shovel/e-tool. Would like an update. Will contact soon otherwise.
I have some McFarlane DC figures. Like the lobo with space hog and the teen titans animated cyborg because that’s my favorite cyborg. Those are my favorite McFarlane figures and I think they’re some of the best looking DC figures in my collection. That being said, the rest of my DC collection is DCUC, mafex, 1 Harley icons because she scales well, 1 modded dc essentials to fit the 6.5 inch scale, and of course mafex Superman and Batman. There’s not a single definitive modern 6 - 6.5 inch DC line but there are plenty of options across all these lines and companies that enable you to easily build an in scale 6.5 inch collection. Just have to be creative.
McFarlane figures lost me due to scale like you mentioned. I like to have team ups in some of my displays so I kept my DCU Classics. They aren’t perfect but I can basically team them up with some marvel characters.
The evil monsters from Willow are all inspired by the film critics that ripped George Lucas in his career. The monster is the Ebersisk which is Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert from At the Movies film critics. The General Kael is Pauline Kael famous movie critic that panned Star Wars. Another Easter egg is Willow off Good is Will of God…
@@Valaverse I just meant that store looked endless in this video , with the multiple back rooms and shelving all filled. When I saw all the vendors at Joe fest, I ignorantly assumed their home stores were all smaller in size and stock somehow. I gotta learn more and get to more toy stores.
@@ryantorney5581 Ryan managed to buy the whole strip mall, and convert all the smaller shops into toy storage. That's why the backrooms seem to be endless.
Leave it to booby to throw in just how much of a victim he is when he worked at Hasbro. Dude you’re not special whatsoever. You cater to grown men that play with dolls. What exactly have you done in life 😂😂😂😂.
I avoided that scorpion for several years and waited for a correct repaint with the animated face one. So much better. I would never buy that bullshit painted face one. They ruined it.
Yes i watch Toy Federation, but more importantly stop mentioning POTF2 until i finish getting my loose collection haha you're going to drive the market up. I loved your DC super powers display a while back and decided i wanted to do a similar display of the POTF2 line since that was my childhood line.

Weird seeing a toy store that isn't 89% funko pops.
Glad to see someone else trying to get the word out on Midnight Nation. Would be a perfect 1 season HBO show.
Yeah, if you want to see it ruined…
Cup coffee and pre roll watching this on my day off is a vibe 😎 keep up awesome content guys 💯

I like Bob's insight into some of the story stuff. Especially stuff I couldn't care less about.😂❤
Rising stars and midnight nation. So cool to know other people remember those series.
Glad you caught that! Worried no one would know!
@@Valaverse yep. When I sold off a bulk of my comics (mostly post ‘95 stuff) I made sure to keep both those series. Really felt those were underrated.
Better than most comic book team ups these days! Didn’t know Michael French was into the Shadow. Learn something new everyday

Bobby is a legit toy lover and amazing artist! Just subbed! Toy Federation is Mecca.
Seeing all those Star Wars Power of the Force 2 figures makes me jealous.
Great video. I’ll do the 14 hour drive to Toy Federation next spring
I was about to say no Coleco Starcom up until I saw that incomplete Starmax Bomber! Great visit video!

Saw that Tim Kennedy/Duster is helping out with hurricane relief with his "Save Our Allies" crew 👍
Wow! Bobby you bought alot stuff during this video. Weapons x Wolverine figure is so cool to own
Mattel hasbro McFarlane etc should listen to you and toy federation’s inputs because you guys are on the forefront (on the ground) of toy collecting.
I love that Pandora shirt
Damn you Bobby! I just realized this store is along the way for the 3 hour drive to my mothers. Next trip is gonna be painful. But sooo good.
I had a bunch of the Definetley Dinosaurs when I was a kid.
It's a cool store, about 15 minutes form my house. They've come a long way since their old store that was across the street
You should setup a signing day at Toy Federation with you Action Force that would be fun
The Death Blow art is fkn so good!
