Clearly your right hand is more dominant. It would have been nice to switch each drill to your more dominant hand and also apple even pressure as u drill

I love my 18v over the 20v, I'm not impressed with the 20v, good review

Were they both brand new batteries?

Both in theory and in practice 18v and 20v are exactly the same. 18v is nominal voltage, 20v is max. voltage. All the 18v batteries give out 20v when fully charged. DeWalt sells exactly the same tools with both 18v and 20v branding: 20v is for American market, while 18v is for Europeans. Any difference you might see is due to placebo or flawed testing methodology.

The question i have for the average home owner, is do you really need the extra power. Was thinking of upgrading but my old dewalt works just fine for the occasional picture or odd project around the house.

Your torque adjustment isn't the same and two screws at once is a bad idea. Overall thanks for the review/feedback

I think a new 18v would be a lot closer tho

You can't get 18v anything anymore. At least not very easily

@@KMF3 the 20v max tools/batterys are 18 volt, but the can't call them 18v because Milwaukee owns a patent in the US. The rest of the world still has 18v standard👍

20v is backwards compatible to most 18v tools they won't charge on an 18 volt charger though .
Imo not much difference really just marketing bs

If you buy the adapter it can be.

actually, 18v and 20v batteries are exactly the same, they produce same amount of power. For old tools, they are usually labeled as 18v{nominal) while newer one are labeled as 20v{max). The only problem is the connectors itself and also the battery management system. On some powertools such as bosch 10.8V, you can also use newer battery labeled as 12V which is also exact same battery with exact same power. Not sure with dewalts.....

@@affiqikhwan9036 dude there is an adapter called the dca1820. Stop making a comment no one asked for, only dumb people don’t know they are the same voltage, like the guy who made the video. But you can physically use the 20 v battery on the 18 v dewalt with the dca1820 or a similar knockoff that can be found on eBay. Thanks for the “aksually” comment, actually spelt wrong to make fun of the fact no one asked for the info you provided, all though maybe the guy who made the video could use this info…
