Rodriguez got experience and chin but he trade too much with hard puncher even got caught with legit knockdown, he didn't seal the deal like a pro that he should be and he didn't even try to continue to fight he only got 2 rounds left, duno got more heart but his future isn't bright with that limited technique, foot work , timing and knowledge he needs to learn more before he try to look impressive or dangerous.

That Cut on his right eye was hit 3 solid times during the round before he slipped. And if you pause the video at 42:03 There is no way Duno's cheek made contact with it. It's more of his forehead to his temple rather than to his cheek. But a win is a win. can't complain.

Duno beat the shit out of Rodriguez. Rodriguez gave him all his best and Duno took it all. Rodriguez was a beaten man and he didn't want anymore punishment. Rodriguez was tired and Duno still had a lot in his tank to go the distance. They both gave it their all but Rodriguez ran out of gas.

So if he quit as a result of nasty cuts from headbutts that means the fighter that caused it is a cheater. Anyway if the doctor is d1 stop the fight yes it's definitely by scorecard... but the ref didn't call the doctor & stopped the fight by himself so it's considered TKO

That is the rule. That was caused by a headbutt not by a punch. So it has to go to the scorecards. If this rule is not properly imposed, boxing will end up with cheaters everywhere. Think about that.
Duno can't continue fighting like that, weak defense he'll suffer many defeats. He should be wise, not to exhaust himself and hit with a good timing. He should not allow himself to get hit a lot of times. It will worn him out. He should learn to side steps inorder not to get hit. Work out his jab. He should not rely on knock out punch.

Duno's first language is not Tagalog (Pacquiao as well). They are both from General Santos in Mindanao, Where "BIsaya/ Cebuano" is spoken. In fact, in the corner of Duno they arent speaking Tagalog they are in fact speaking "Bisaya/ Cebuano". General Santos is literally hundreds of miles away from Manila where tagalog is the main language. when will boxing commentators do a little bit more research and learn that the philippines has literally hundreds more languages/ ethnic groups than "Tagalog". Literally the most famous boxers to come from the Philippines: Elorde, Pancho Villa, Garcia, Pacquiao have either come from the Visayas or Mindanao where "Bisaya" is the main language not "Tagalog" which spoken more in the north called "Luzon"

It is pretty clear in the slo-mo that Duno's jab hit Rodriguez right cheek which was already inflamed from punches received which is why it busted open. Then right after that their foreheads bumped slightly. It was a freakin punch that did it and they would not mention it. It was a great fight but disgraced by the commentators.

Duno needs to improve his defense more and learn how to settle down and relax... His punches are wild and leaves himself wide open for counters. It was a good fan friendly fight though so kudos to both fighters. Referee Caiz Jr. & those commentators are just biased as as can be. Caiz called a low blow on a belt line punch, warned Duno then all of a sudden change his mind and decided to deduct a point? WTH? Lastly, the cut on the cheek was caused by a legal punch and not a headbutt! I don't know what replay these freakin' commentators are watching!
