Spent the winter trawling for prawns between lady Eliot and Musgrave on the Gold Coaster. 12 hrs trawling between the two. So we spent every other day in the lagoon. An idyllic winter for a pomy fisherman on walkabout.

Hi guys, I've just caught up on all your videos. The ones where you have started to include some of the 'technical' (putting your gennaker up in certain conditions - even what you cooked for tea lol) aspects of your sailing and the boat are great. From some of your other comments there are quite a few other tragics like me out there that have similar dreams/plans to what you are doing and are taking inspiration from you. Particularly as you were new to sailing it is interesting to learn by watching others learn. There are a lot of sailing channels out there and it is good to see another Australian one featuring people starting out. Like the other channels it would be good to include some details of your boat (Looks like about a 38-41 foot FP?) and even what your journey or process was for searching for and buying it. I guess I'm very curious so am presuming others out there like me are as well.
Anyway its been great watching you, I stumbled across your channel as a result of this video. Interesting to see all of the other islands you visited nearby, I didn't realise there were so many so close together.
The editing etc must be a lot of work but hey when the weather's blowing you've got plenty of time lol.
Good luck with it all, I'll stay subscribed.
    Cheers
    Jim

Hi Jim, thanks for your comment, really appreciate it. We will do another video on the boat (have done one ruclips.net/video/yPymcLUKe4o/видео.html ), the process of buying Bagheera will be a separate video at a later date.
Bagheera is a 36 ft Charter Cat (company no longer operating) it is a Jaguar 36 model, owners version made in South Africa. I call it a poor mans Leopard
