He comes from a reputable family where his aunts and uncles were business people and had a lot of game. Mobbin101 explains how he played football growing up and it was a way for him and his dad to bond since his dad used to play football as well. Mobbin101 talks about going pro-overseas and learning about the different cultures he was surrounded by. He mentions how it expanded his horizons in many ways he never imagined it could. Once his football career came to an end, he decided to go all in with music and transferred his work ethic with football to music. Mobbin101 believes in staying at it and understanding that when one door closes another one opens. He says, "Muisc is like alcohol someones is going to drink it, so its all up to you to understand what kind of bar you got."
