The poor boy is 19, an age which many gay men haven't even come out to their parents, let alone to the public. For all we know, he could be gay. Also it is likely that if he actually is gay then his PR team would discourage him from coming out to the public, as coming out at such an early stage in his carrer could be a bad move in the world of sport, as proven by fellow olympic diver Matthew Mitcham and his dramatic loss in sponsers after coming out to the public
