I have a Cane corso mixed with an old English bulldog. Hes beautiful, huge, and extremely protective. Hes black, with white feet, chest and top of his tail. Hes not very bright, a bit clumsy but has an excellent sense of smell and hearing. He fits in well with our family. We get stopped all the time by other people asking about him, as they ve never seen a dog like like him.

I won time head for Catahoula leopards. The parents and 2 pure bred pups. They are everything This video says and so much more. They are some of the smartest dogs I have ever seen along with being the most loyal and compassionate dogs ever. There’s so much more I could say about him and all of it would be positive that this comment could go on forever. If you’re interested in them do a little research as I would say they are hands down the best breed of dogs in the world and of course the my opinion but I do base it off of 20 years with them, many situations and many individuals. I loved mine so much and I could tell that they loved me and my family/ their family just as much. I would get another one in a heartbeat without thinking about it. Thanks for the great video! Keep them coming, take care, and stay safe, peace.
I have a Norwegian Puffin, I love her so much. My grandmother and two of my aunts run Lundehund raised, so we got her pretty quickly. One thing is that the vast majority of puppies must have at least one litter to get the population up. But I love all types of dogs. everyone is fine in their own way.
I have a basenji. Since she was a puppy, she has never chewed anything but her toy collection. Some things are caused by the breed, some things are caused by the owner.
Basenjis are local to West Africa. These are the dogs I grew up with. I'm surprised to see them listed here as a rare breed. Visit Nigeria and you'll find them everywhere. We call them Nkita.
My parents used to own a black pit bull named Molly. Sadly, she died from a snakebite. But, she had a puppy named Brutus, so he took her place. He was not a black pit bull. Edit: yes, Molly was fully black.
They're so stunningly beautiful!! I had never seen a fully black Pit before watching this video. I've definitely fallen even further in love with the breed now! 🖤🖤🖤
Catahoula curs are amazing dogs. I love them so much. They are mostly used in dog running. Dog running is basically tracking down certain animals like squirrels, deer, and sometimes bear, etc. Im really glad they mentioned this dog bc this dog is highly underrated. So if you are a hunter the catahoula cur dog is definitely a good pick.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Tamaskan, considering its wolf-like appearance, its uncommon purchasing rates (as they usually run for $2k), and its loyalty to its owners. I've met one once, he was a big beautiful overgrown puppy.
@Talf Fire how is me just simply saying it's a Cane Corso not a pitbull being rude??? Honestly i said the same thing as everyone else i just told them what breed it actually was. Wasnt trying to be rude.
I ended up with a brindle , ( but. With like really pronounced color, his entire body is brindle colored, from face to tail....with a. Straight line down his back marking an almost symmetrical right and left), Boxer bully, mom female bully, father brindle boxer.... Rocky, is 15 months and weighs 78 pounds. He's not quite as tall as his dad, but definitely thicker and heavier. I love that dog. Neighbor pothead, ( that everyone keeps their distance from. Good kid), one day came up to me and asked why I wasn't walking my border collie anymore. I had to explain that he had passed away. Next day, neighbor shows up with this tiny brindle puppy....6 weeks, and gifted him to me..... I am eternally grateful to that kid, Rocky is like my best homie. He's my best friend.... In fact it's time for his walk. Thank you to Oscar, my Neighbor....

He's still very young and full of energy, I'm training him now to be friendly but for the meantime he has a big yard to run around and play all day so he isn't near people
Bedlington is right on my door step haha ! My high school was there funny enough about a mare 8 miles away :P The Bedlington Terrier is a breed of small dog named after the mining town of Bedlington, Northumberland in North East England. I have a Louisiana Catahoula leopard dog,I’m a first time owner.they are smart and are not hard to train, they can be stubborn but loving and are very protective.they don’t do well with little kids about 8 or under.
Glad to hear of you remarking of the Louisiana Catahula Leopard Hound Though ive never heard it being originated in Louisiana only as being one of the First Dogs breeds living along with an Indigenous Tribe located what is now Lousiana
The reason there are so many rare Scandenavian dog breeds on this list is because of the WW2 bombing strikes. The "Karelsk Bjornhund" or known as the Karelian Bear Dog was almost extinct by the mid 1940s with only roughly 100 known dogs of the breed left. It was bred back into existence and is known as a national treasure in Finland. It's no longer a rare breed but less than 100 years ago it was almost extinct. 12k year old breed originally from Russia.
I love square-headed dog types like Pitties, Chow Chows, Boxers, Cane Corsos & other mastiffs but out of all these video dogs, I would probably have a Finnish Spitz or a Thai Ridgeback. And definitely a Xoloitzcuintli as soon as I get to Mexico.
I had a Bedlington Terrier as a kid while living in N. J. And I had 2 Bassenjis when I was in my early 20's. The Terrier was havic when he saw any animal, even German Shepherds. He was a 1 dog family. The 2 Bassenjis did not bark but made a sound called a chortle, like a dog yodel. They were very smart and territorial of the house. They were also very stubborn. If they didn't want to do something, good luck trying to change their minds. They had very catlike personalities. But to 1 person owner they were very loyal and easy to groom. Mine lived for 12+ years. Also, some of them develop diabetes which ended their lives.
I had number 11 when I was a kid. And we never understand why his fur was so tangled. Even though we would shower him. Turns out that’s just how they are lol.
I have a European cream golden retriever (responsibility bred) so she’s a very light cream color and she was quite expensive for a dog(3k) she’s very pretty and always gets compliments lol. If you want a unique family/service dog I’d definitely recommend an English cream, or a red golden retriever. Just make sure to research the breeders you are considering bc Goldens are prone to hip issues if they’re not bred safely
My friend has a black pitbull, she is gorgeous and HUGE!!!! I absolutely love her and no she dosent have a vicious bone in her body. She's precious!!! 😍😍
Thank you for the “barking sounds” for some of the Most Expensive Dog Breeds. I especially 💗the Hairless Dog So keep on 💕💕all your pets, they deserve to be 💖💗💞💕❣️❤️ ✌🏽 Aus’. 🇦🇺🤞🇦🇺 🥰
Basenji's aren't that rare. That's why there are several Basenji rescues. People get them and because they are sp high strung, they get dumped A LOT! It's really quite sad..
My Mom use to have a hairless Chihuahua named Taco Bell. He was hairless except for the top of his head. I use to rub his head and say Taco Taco Taco Bell and say I gonna mess your hair up. He would get so excited. I went over seas and when I came back I got the sad new he had been hit by a car :'( I would have loved to have owned him.
the "pit bull" shown in the thumbnail isn't a pit bull. his name is Prague and he's an XL American Bully. he's from the breeder XXL Designer Pitbulls. they breed XL/XXL Bullies, not pits
Believe me, not even one of the "pit bulls" featured were American pit bull, or even close! As no purebred pit bull has ever been merle, nor weighed over 100 pounds, it's obvious that the first dog is just a typical Catahoula, American bulldog, American staff mix. A mutt. The "black pit bull" part is ridiculous as black is a very common color in gamebred pits, or in oversized mixes like the ones shown. Diane Jessup, author The Working Pit Bull, The Dog Who Spoke With God's and co-author with Louis Colby , Colby's Book of the American Pit Bull.
My pitt loves chasing them and catching them but refuses to kill. A couple cats in the neighborhood figured it out and would take the dog for a good chase then just ride around in her mouth lol scared the hell out of my wife
I had got a kitten for myself and she ended up being my dogs cat that started thinking she was like my dog. She would eat out the bowl with my dog, wanted to stay in the kennel with my dog and wanted to go outside with my dog. That was my dog's cat. 🤣😂😂🤣
@lacemonitor181 well my pitbull is a certified rat catcher. She'd catch them and kill them. She always found their burrows and always knows where they are in brush. About a week ago late one night when I let her out she went straight to where a possum was hiding trying to get it.🤦♀️ I found out a while back that it's in terriers nature and they were actually breed for this. So, idk if yours would have ever been friends with the rats, but who knows. 🤷♀️
I use to be afraid of dogs as well. Now I have 146 pound Mastiff Rottweiler mix and he is the best thing that happen to me. I will never live without a dog again. Love my pup ❤️
There is no such thing as "natural dogs". ALL dogs started from wolves and ancient humans bred them for characteristics they liked. Here, free learning for you: ruclips.net/video/aQHBmY6LbiA/видео.html
@@no1special999 so you're saying wolves are mixed with human dna. Or mixed with other wolves. I can see a husky and perhaps even a shepherd but a miniature pinscher and other small dogs. And you believe Degrassi. Lmsolllllllll
@@skyjack8541 It's an actual fact that all dogs descend from the gray wolf. Nothing I said has anything to do with people other than the fact that people selected the animals to mate that didn't bite the hand that fed them sometime after a genetic divergence among wolves 15,000 to 30,000 years ago.
exactly. like how its common in goldens to have hip and joint problems because of the inbreeding. but hey everyone wants their golden retriever for that american family staple. my husky/malamute/golden/collie/whatever the fuck else he is was rescued from a kill shelter and he is healthy as can be at 12 years old.

I have a Louisiana Catahoula leopard dog,I’m a first time owner.they are smart and are not hard to train, they can be stubborn but loving and are very protective.they don’t do well with little kids about 8 or under.
Mine does great around kids or anyone for that matter. Just train them to not be assertive to children, catahoulas are very intelligent
She's so cute and precious💞👼. So happy she found her forever family. Prayers for a healthy, happy and safe life always for her.🙏🏽❤💕💞💫
We get it, all dog breeds are loyal, protective and loving
“Cough” husky “cough”
No they are not all protective
The hairless dog looks like beerus 🙂🙂 that’s awesome 😎
Glad to hear of you remarking of the Louisiana Catahula Leopard Hound
Though ive never heard it being originated in Louisiana only as being one of the First Dogs breeds living along with an Indigenous Tribe located what is now Lousiana
OMG! I love how Finnish Spitz barks, a rare dog with remarkable voice range
Who else saw the dog wink at 1:42 😂😂

Love this channel
The reason there are so many rare Scandenavian dog breeds on this list is because of the WW2 bombing strikes.
The "Karelsk Bjornhund" or known as the Karelian Bear Dog was almost extinct by the mid 1940s with only roughly 100 known dogs of the breed left. It was bred back into existence and is known as a national treasure in Finland.
It's no longer a rare breed but less than 100 years ago it was almost extinct. 12k year old breed originally from Russia.
Oh ty they're so cute!
Yeah I really like the coated Mexican hairless dog. I may try to get one of those one of these days. Thanks for the video
The rarest dog breed is the asong gubat its only found in philippines the breed is about 36000 years old
Gago amp. HAHAHAHHAHA😂
Wrong. Its 69420 years
@michael browne yep 36k, google it
Ibig po niyang sabihin ay mahigit 36000 years na po namumuhay sa pilipinas ang lahi niyan.
Ha_yuffff 😅😅😅
Walking two pit bulls around in a crowded area just SCREAMS “Look at me”. Pass me the shotgun shells.....
Ha hilarious

My uncle has a Xoloitzcuintle *toy* in his farm. The dog is pretty cool (Mexican hairless dog) 👍 *and other dogs he owns
Is the dog soft or rough texture
@@josh-pf6qx it has a rough texture. It's not soft 👎
Your description of the Louisiana Catahoula Leopard dog is spot on. I know.
I had number 11 when I was a kid. And we never understand why his fur was so tangled. Even though we would shower him. Turns out that’s just how they are lol.
Woah! There Amazing
What about the Czechoslovakian Wolfhound? I love seeing them :)
When he called that one dog a Janitor s mop I busted out laughing
The split nose pointer looks like a regular pointer just with a split nose( now that I have typed this I realize that’s where the name came from)
Respect my love
If you like animals wild
You can see on my channel
My first video uploaded now.
Thanks.❤️
We had a catahoula and a mix. They are a lot more common than they used to be. Super smart, but needs a lot of exercise
Hi Carrie.
How are you today?🌻🌹
I have a European cream golden retriever (responsibility bred) so she’s a very light cream color and she was quite expensive for a dog(3k) she’s very pretty and always gets compliments lol. If you want a unique family/service dog I’d definitely recommend an English cream, or a red golden retriever. Just make sure to research the breeders you are considering bc Goldens are prone to hip issues if they’re not bred safely
My friend has a black pitbull, she is gorgeous and HUGE!!!! I absolutely love her and no she dosent have a vicious bone in her body. She's precious!!! 😍😍
when i look in my google search history and all i see "How much does the ______________ dog cost?"
Same 😂😂
Wow! A doggie went full Bob Marley with dreads.

great video
Basenji's aren't that rare. That's why there are several Basenji rescues. People get them and because they are sp high strung, they get dumped A LOT! It's really quite sad..
I like dogs and watching this make me wona have one if these dogs breeds
My Mom use to have a hairless Chihuahua named Taco Bell. He was hairless except for the top of his head. I use to rub his head and say Taco Taco Taco Bell and say I gonna mess your hair up. He would get so excited. I went over seas and when I came back I got the sad new he had been hit by a car :'( I would have loved to have owned him.
Playback speed 1.25x
Sounds like a regular video now.
You're welcome.
the "pit bull" shown in the thumbnail isn't a pit bull. his name is Prague and he's an XL American Bully. he's from the breeder XXL Designer Pitbulls. they breed XL/XXL Bullies, not pits
Thanks😊
Believe me, not even one of the "pit bulls" featured were American pit bull, or even close!
As no purebred pit bull has ever been merle, nor weighed over 100 pounds, it's obvious that the first dog is just a typical Catahoula, American bulldog, American staff mix. A mutt.
The "black pit bull" part is ridiculous as black is a very common color in gamebred pits, or in oversized mixes like the ones shown.

Thx for posting this video by I have one of these dogs :)
You Forgot one more dog bread and it's the PHARAOH HOUND
My sister had one he was pretty v
Cool.
yes we can't forget the "dog bread"
There is quite a few dogs not on the list. This is just someone’s top # list
The Etna Dog, as well...was expecting to see them on this list.

funny about terriers.. i own two cats, and then fostered a :pit bull" terrier. after ashort time they all became friends, no one was eaten,,
My pitt loves chasing them and catching them but refuses to kill. A couple cats in the neighborhood figured it out and would take the dog for a good chase then just ride around in her mouth lol scared the hell out of my wife
Yet
I love your video s
6:32 just call the fur dreads.
beautiful dogs how i wish to have my own bully and husky..thanks for the vedio.
I love them even when they are puppy they are so cute😘
I don't even know why I'm watching this, I'm scared of dogs...
Ahaha I'm also scared of dogs
Just try approaching them... they're actually super friendly once you know them.
Really?! There super nice cute and fluffy
I use to be afraid of dogs as well. Now I have 146 pound Mastiff Rottweiler mix and he is the best thing that happen to me. I will never live without a dog again. Love my pup ❤️
the dogs look Great
I feel a lot of these are “rare” dogs because they aren’t natural dogs. I think it’s all errors from inbreeding over time and it’s sad.
Xolo is an ancient dog.... was here even before most of the dogs you consider "Common"....
There is no such thing as "natural dogs".
ALL dogs started from wolves and ancient humans bred them for characteristics they liked.

These breeds are beautiful
