Let's be honest did anyone really think Arsenal were going to win every game from January until the end of the season. They were bound to drop points at some stage. Only difference instead of being one point ahead they are now two points behind. Will Man city win their last six games? I doubt it. Same with Liverpool.I think they have at least a draw in there. However I believe Arsenal NOW need to win the last six remaining games and that will be enough. Would not be surprised at all if this League is decided on goal difference
But it is doubtful Arsenal will not drop points and that’s definitely Arsenal done.
Based on the last 2 performances from Arsenal, they will at the very least draw before the end of the season.

The Gunners were 5 Points behind Liverpool at the start of the year and Level on points with CITY who had a game in hand yet...after 4 months we're still in just behind City by only 2 points with 6 Games left ..
Still there's hope..City are not machines one or two key injuries and the race is on AGAIN..City look like conceding goals every game and Haaland is not at his best form while Kevin not 100% fit so ...

I can't fault Arsenal, even if their fans can be annoying at times. Truth is, City are a superior squad & to even be mixing it with them right to the wire is an excellent effort. Arteta is getting as much as anyone could get out of them. Fair play for what he is doing. But Pep is king & the cream usually rises to the top over 38 games. it is what it is.

I found it an interesting juxtaposition that on the day that Bayer Leverkusen were winning the Bundesliga for the first time aided in no small part by Granit Xhaka, that Arsenal were losing whilst sadly lacking someone with his controlling influence and determination to win.
Arsenal keep putting fans in a heartbreaking situation every season towards the end especially. The motivation should have come from Liverpool's loss, but they bottled it themselves. Painful😢😢

I'm a Newcastle supporter so I'm very much neutral in this season's title race; but saying it's over for Arsenal is a bit dramatic isn't it? Arsenal have been fantastic this season. It's still very much a 3 horse race with only 2 points separating 1st from 2nd & 3rd ... Plus there is still 6 games left to play/18 points up for grabs. Wasn't Arteta told in his press conference that the top has changed 18 times already ... It ain't over for either of the top 3 by a long shot. Liverpool losing to Palace; yes it was a big shock but it definitely was not a shock for Arsenal to lose to Aston Villa. Villa are No mugs. Tho I believe Man City will win it again; they haven't exactly been 100% this season so it's still up for grabs.

I can’t agree as everyone can see how one win can change everything. Man City were being written off a few weeks ago and now they are top but only two points in it and City have a difficult run in so still all to play for. It’s definitely not over.
Merson is right, it's over. We were crying out for Jorgingho, and he came on and made such a blind pass in that situation. Wow, what a day! Besides Odegaard, they were all spellbound all game.

Disappointing from the Gunners but fair play to Villa. They played well and battered us in the second half. I think City has a massive advantage now. Liverpool of course can do the unthinkable but it’s in City’s hands now. We go again next season for the title and hope Arsenal invest in a striker and fix the midfield.

It is not over to be honest, we have Tottenham away and as much as they are struggling for form, man they always pose an issue. And all the games in between, I know the team shows its character when this part of the season comes but it's still too early to call it.
I can't see city dropping any points it'll be a miracle if they do so we might just have lost any hope of the league and if we lose against Bayern it'll be the same as last year we will go into free fall. If we somehow pull it out the bag Wednesday it might just be a confidence boost to keep us on the march in Europe the result either way will impact the way we play in the league for the rest of the season

It’s not that it’s only 2 points, It’s that psychologically Arsenal have taken a beating. City are juggernauts and they know exactly what it takes and how to do it. Arsenal just don’t have that thing that makes you champions. The fact that Arsenal fans left early speaks volumes. You’re basically telling the players that’s it’s done
In fairness, the second half performance was shocking, and the tactics were questionable throughout. Starting Zinchenko against Diaby? Playing Havertz in midfield where he is worse? Favouring Trossard, who usually has the most impact off the bench, over Martinelli, and playing Jesus upfront when he struggles to bury chances? Also, no Jorghino or Partey to start - this felt decided before it began.

Tough loss that after seeing Liverpool lose. However, Liverpool played really well, Arsenal were not the same team that second half which was worrying. Basically we did bottle that game and the players lost their belief. Bayern will put the nail in the coffin Wednesday I can already see it. I hope I'm wrong, but it's written in the stars 😅
i don’t think neither liverpool are arsenal were exactly at fault today or deserved to lose, both had so many chances and they lost because they were committing forward, with 10 minutes to go arsenal still had men back but in their minds they were thinking about how to score not how to defend. Then liverpool have done this for a while now, they start games almost like they have 15 minutes left and it’s 0-0 they commit so many forward straight away hense why we concede a lot early. Both games came down to poor finishing and i wouldn’t even say it’s any players fault it was just a bad day at the office for so many players on both teams

In my opinion it's too early to say the title race is over for Arsenal, they will still be twists and turns even at this late stage of the season.
The fact people think it's gone despite Arsenal still being only 2pts behind City with 6 games still left should tell you how crazy the pace that City are likely to set is. Did anyone seriously think Arsenal were going to win every single game between now and the end of the season with Villa, Chelsea, Spurs and Utd still to contend with? Hopefully they can pick themselves up and prove that they're not the same team that did bottle it last season and can push City as far as they can.
