I know this is contrary, but if got fired today, I can’t help but think I would be overwhelmed with relief. But maybe it’s because this job feels like I’m in prison.
If I lose my job anytime going forward, I just retire. I know not what most people would be going through but I am at that stage of hanging up this work thing anyway. I actually hope I get cut in one of these reorgs that has been going on. That way I get a nice severance package to ride off into the sunset.
I lost my job when I came across a customer (ex employee) defrauding my company. He had greater ties in the company then me being an administrator and eventually was pushed out the company. I regret saying anything about the fraud. Now I am unemployed and emotionally messed up.
Definitely agree with simplistic being less intimidating! Struggling with even picking from an abundant variety of ketchup available at the grocery store. 😅
It's so sad how the emotional aspect of devotion is exponentially higher for the employee than the employer. If you work for a Fortune 500 company your life will be honored with a 2 minute email to your colleagues, then life goes on.

You must work in a warehouse like I do

It is harder to get a job nowadays because of ATS. One good job gets >1000 applications within a day.

Commentarry is so objectively out-of-touch to the extent that it's senseless. Get a clue.
Can someone just provide the steps and not all the talking nonsense
I do think we had it easier by sending resumes and knowing people who were looking for workers to fill jobs. I’m a baby boomer.
