Floyd was the bomb! I don't know if it's life imitating art, but check out the physical attributes of Floyd and go take a look at Les Claypool. Both bass players, both fond of flamboyant dress! If he wasn't around 30 years ago, Floyd could be a Muppet of Les! (He happened to play a concert at Bonneroo wearing a captain's coat complete with epaulettes and I totally thought of Floyd!)
At this scene in the movie, they must be in Texas because I noticed like three reference to Texas in this song: "I gave it to a Texas cat" "I lost my heart to Texas" "Aurora Borealis shinin' down in Dallas"
I didn't go to the Hollywood Bowl back in September, but for those of you who did, did any of you remember this song as one of songs performed at the Hollywood Bowl?
