I'm always looking for hidden gems, and that means sometimes experiencing questionable hotels in questionable locations. It's all part of the journey, and in retrospect, some of our most painful moments become our best and most memorable.

Nice! I used to go to Cozumel for scuba diving. I want to stay here next time. BTW, you should try Fountainbleu in Vegas. I stayed there for CES and I think you'll really like it.
Well..if you think about it...if youre watching the TV..you wont really be looking out the windows.. so the cool thing is when you want to lay in bed and look out the windows..just put the TV down.. Win win.... 😊

I used to live in Playa del Carmen for 4 years and I theorized that you just got off to a bad start in Cozumel. It's actually a beautiful island once you get away from the cruise ship terminal, there's some really nice resorts there as well, I'm glad you found one. 👍
I think so. Cozumel is certainly different and autonomous place and experience compared to the mainland
Definitely! At first I didn't really like it because it was too touristy with the four to five cruise ships arriving frequently but once I went to different parts of the island, I enjoyed my visit a lot more.

Gotta say that way definitely looks amazing/unique and having a higher up room definitely helps take it in. I have never been to Cozumel and the first videos you've made down there definitely had me turned off by it till now. Look forward to the full review though.
It's a place you need a passionate reason to visit. Then, its quirks and flaws are easily nullified.

I am sure you saw a ton of cruise ships while there. Planned a trip on one yet?
Yoo Phree- I'm toying with the concept of a three to four day cruise. I just don't get it though, cruises seem like a more synthetic/condensed/micro/isolated all-inclusive resort experience?
@@Coolist While that may be the case a bit, people on a cruise are what truly makes it! You get every age, financial status, and demographic and they all have fun together unconditionally!
Also, the specialty dining experiences would impress you as well (during dinner).
Think of it as a high-end field trip for adults who let their hair down, eat too much, drink too much, and love every minute! My only advice is the shorter cruises are the "party" cruises, whereas the 6 days plus ones typically are on much newer ships with better amenities and dining options. If you decide to do go for it Virgin, Celebrity, and any newer Royal Caribbean, or Carnival Ship would not disappoint. Go for it buddy!

I stayed on the Penthouse level a few years ago, it’s a really nice room but a couple things I don’t like was they weren’t serving food with happy hour at the pool bar and I couldn’t order food at the inside bar.
Might've been a 2020 -2022 thing if you know what I'm saying
