    I read the book, and I have the audiobook. Since I listened to the audiobook, read amazingly by Mare Winningham, I have envisioned Mare as Lisey. I do not understand why she was not offered the part since she is a very good actress, and fits my image of Lisey. Then I realized, you must glam up the characters when putting books on film. I think I'm going to skip this one. I love this book and have no desire to have it ruined for me. I do hope everyone else enjoys it though. We all have a right to our opinion.

    • @melanietaylor3101
      @melanietaylor3101 3 года назад +3

      Well, consider the fact that Mare Winningham may have been offered the part and was unable to accept or not interested in the role. Happens all the time. Both she and Julianne Moore are brilliant and busy actors...

    • @keevolution5656
      @keevolution5656 3 года назад +2

      having an opinion doesn’t give you a right to hate another person and just discredit all the work that she has done just because you didn’t want her for this role. no one cares if you skip this because of your petty reason.
