Mine blows heavy black smoke when I use a turbo nozzle should I only be working at half throttle or is it ok to work with full throttle?

Hi, with mains connected and trigger not pulled on gun end, can damage be caused to pump with overheating. Is there a bypass type of piping to circulate to stop overheating if gun not used for a considerable amount of time?

it will most certainly have a pump bypass or a thermal relief valve.
to prevent overheating.

not pulling the trigger when starting from recoil will make it difficult to start because of the water pressure in the pump...

dont ever do what u did in the end always shut the unit off with the water running
