Rick, I don't care if I win or not...the reveal in this video was the prize for me! I must have watched this episode dozens of times over the years and I never saw the drawn face of a baby on the cheese. What a treat! Thank you Rick for this very rare find. I'm an overjoyed! And I'm gearing up to watch that episode right now.
I have this episode so many times and I just noticed the face on the cheese about a week ago while watching I Love Lucy on Pluto TV. Then I see this video a week later
Thanks for sharing Rick love Lucy and all the details and info interesting video always learn from you love hearing this stuff thanks for the video man
The takeaway line that I remember from this particular hilarious " Bonnet Baby "episode was when Lucy says to the other woman with the baby on the plane," We ate it!" This causes the other woman to be extremely alarmed! Oh My God was Lucy a genius!
I actually like the line and I think it was before the one you mentioned where the lady with the baby is describing Lucy's baby and Lucy says, "It wasn't a baby. It was a piece of cheese!" So hysterical!
I have seen all the I Love Lucy episodes numerous times and I have never noticed any of those details. I find your videos fascinating. BTW, have you done a video about all the different characters Frank Nelson has played throughout the series? I love that actor!
Never noticed that face on cheese in Baby Bonnet episode. My fav line is when Lucy’s seatmate sees her drinking the formula bottle and Lucy says “he hates to drink alone “.
I have seen this episode more times than I can count. In fact, it was the first episode of I Love Lucy that I watched. I saw the bonnet in other shots, but not in the shot when they are eating the cheese. I never noticed the face before! That is absolutely hilarious! It’s totally something Lucy would have done! Thank you for pointing it out!
I have never noticed this, and Ihave watched this episode multiple times over the years! What a surprise. I'm going to watch this episode again to see if I can find this!! Thanks for another great secret!
What a great detail to notice. I LOVE this episode and I know it's in your top ten unsung episodes. Great lines. Ricky's "I am not the father of that sheese!" And Lucy's "He hates to drink alone.". And at the customs office. "You and Mrs Ricardo ate 25 lbs. of cheese? Oh, come now!" FRED: Oh, it's possible. I've seen my wife sit down and polish off ... ETHEL: Oh, shut up!
Rick, you did a great job with “Bonnet Baby”. I have seen this episode probably 10-20 times and never noticed the face on the cheese. I say yes, Lucy drew it on herself. I just love all your videos…and I still watch about 2 episodes a week, noting the things you have mentioned. Thumbs up always! You make the best show ever, even better Rick!
I’ve seen this episode many times and never noticed the face! Omg! What a wonderful find! I do remember when Lucy tells Ethel she has to help eat the cheese , Ethel replies something to the effect of “Even I can’t eat this much cheese”! LOL hysterical!!! Thank you for sharing! I love these videos!
Wow, Thankyou so much for sharing Rick! I have watch this episode so many times, I'd never notice the Baby's face on the cheese! And that's a honest fact. 🧀🙂
The funniest part of “bonnet baby” was when Lucy drank the formula. The look on her face and the way her entire body shivered ‘was hilarious! Thanks for reminding us of this episode
I have seen this episode Bonnet Baby many times but have never noticed the face drawn on the cheese. What a jewel! It is so great to watch your videos and get details from I Love Lucy shows. Thank you.
@@TheDriftwoodlover "The FAA allowed knives of up to 4 inches in length on board an aircraft," Just looked that up. That's crazy. I remember security prior to 9/11 being somewhat annoying still, but I didn't think one could slip a knife through. Guess I was mistaken. Good thing Lucy didn't have to cut the cheese with anything less!
Rick, the Bonnett Baby episode has always been one of my favorite ILL episodes. I love this hidden gem. I do wonder who was responsible for it. I’ll have to look harder in other episodes for other gems. Thanks so much for your fun posts!
I love the "Bonnett Baby" episode. I never noticed the face drawn on the cheese but that makes sense if people were sitting there they she need to make it look believable. I can't believe she didn't show it more to the camera. And like you said, now I'll never be able to unsee it.
This is a hilarious detail that you’ve uncovered for us, Rick. You amaze me! I love that you noticed this. I certainly never did and I’ve seen this episode so many times. As a matter of fact, I just watched it a couple of weeks ago. It’s definitely something Lucy would do. Makes complete sense. Great find, Rick. As always, thank you for sharing this and thank you for your hard work❤️
BONNET BABY Holy Mackerel, Rick! I am an unabashed fan of ILL, as you know. I have seen this episode countless times, and I even own the entire Season 5 on DVD. And yet, I have NEVER noticed that creepy face on the cheese! I wonder if there was a point in the episode where Lucy draws the face on the cheese, and then that part was edited out...?? What an unbelievable catch, Rick! As always, be hopeful! Paul +
What’s funny when I watched these shows in the mid 60’s with Gilligans Island, Batman and Lost in Space I thought the I Love Lucy shows were new. I definitely remember this show and never saw the face. Must be over 45 years since I watched them. Great catch.
This Bonnet Baby Episode has always been one of favorites. I love Lucy's expression when she had to drink some of baby's formula. I swear I could almost taste how bad it was 😝. When Ethel says ' even I can't eat 25 pounds of cheese" l laugh out loud! Rick, keep the the fun coming...❤️
I have seen all I love lucy episodes many times. But never noticed the face on bonnet baby. This one was always one of my favorites. Keep the videos coming. I watch them all several times.
I noticed the baby bonnet, but I never knew props drew a face on the cheese. Keep in mind, that I do not own I Love Lucy on DVD. I am recalling this episode from 45 years ago. A time before DVD, VHS, and high definition tv.
I just watched this episode on Peacock and I didn’t even notice the baby bonnet or the drawn on face! I love these little details that you put on your content!
Wow! This “bonnet baby“ find is priceless! I never knew about the bonnet on the cheese, nor the face that was drawn (most likely by Lucy herself). And I’ve seen this episode probably close to 100 times. Thank you so much for sharing this excellent gem of information with us.
This is one of my favorite episodes. I already have the box set of ILL videos so pass me up if I should be picked. Just want to thank you Rick for all you do!
Oh my goodness I have seen this episode so many times and have never noticed it! I will say that baby face is a little on the frightening side! thank you for sharing this, I would have never noticed it
LOL, Rick! Another nice catch I never noticed as I've watched this fantastic episode countless times. I can't believe I never saw that before! Thanks! It will never be unseen again. I can imagine Lucy thinking that since it was supposed to be a baby, she'd draw a face on it and top it off with a baby bonnet. Hilarious! Bonnet Baby! 👶🧀
Hey Rick, this episode is hilarious but I've never noticed the Bonnet Baby before. I'm sure that I'll notice it from now on!!! Thanks for the heads up!!! 👍👍🙂
Funny episode of the bonnet baby one of the funniest scenes is Lucy drinking the baby formula the expression on her face was priceless similar to the vitamitavegamin episodes.
This episode with the "Bonnet Baby" is one of my top five favorite ILL episodes! It's so funny, but I also get a kick out of plane travel in the 1950s. Baby Cheddar...I mean Chester! 😂😂😂
Thank you, Rick. I saw the bonnet but I have never seen the face, thank you for sharing! Have you noticed in the episode "Lucy is Envious" when Lucy and Ethel are dressed as women from Mars to promote a movie to earn $500 each for her high school friends charity, before they climb over the railing on the Empire State Building, Ethel has a toy gun in her waistband and after they get over the railing it is on the roof of the Empire State Building. Lucy and Ethel share Lucy's toy gun, to scare the people and freeze the man. I love that little blooper if that's what you want to call it.
Once again, Lucy had to face the music.
Thanks again, Rick Nineg
