Kenshi is the only game I have ever played where I didn't reload saves. Because a loss of progress isn't simply a loss of progress, but also a development to the story and gameplay.
I personally love this start in Kenshi. In my playthrough right now one of my main 2 escaped early because I ground an insane athletics skill on them and in their freedom they recruited more people and got supplies to come back for their friend weeks later. Because I had the one left behind over encumbered (You can take off your shackles and put them in your inventory, and the guards will not take away the old shackles and give you a knew pair as many times as you want) they had been grinding strength. By the time we got them out with our new liberation crew they had 37 in strength.
I have to say.Your decision to start a new series was a good one. This start is so good...feels like the start of an epic adventure...2 weak but strong willed guys saving others who then join your company and then you form a band and...........
played Kenshi for probably 90 Hours since release and Pretty much hit a god like state, but your series here realy inspired another playthrough...it's quite amazing how many different things you can pull of (or roleplay) in this Incredible game.
You dont need to reload after getting -40 health to your head it will recover its not like they beheaded you. You only lose limbs if you get hit by a cutting weapon and it takes it below -100 health. I feel like you would enjoy the game a lot more if you didnt reload every time something attacked you. Getting beat down is part of the game. Your character starts with no skills while everybody else has at least some skills. You have to get stronger and learn. You wont do that reloading everytime someone attacks you...
5:45 the reason why he failed so many times is because he was helping Cabu with his low lockpicking chance, so much that his 90% chance of success didn't matter
Through my slave run I messed around with training methods you can do and one thing I learned for strength training is unlocking your shackles and putting them in your inventory to add weight. When guards notice they slap a new batch of shackles back on you so you keep adding weight. Slave starts also amazing for assasination since you can keep practicing assassination on the sleeping guards and quickly just jump back into the cages. You can jump right up to like, 40 assassination in one night doing that.
Yes, the slave camp is proving to be a training ground for my character, I was completely avoiding enslavement until I accidentally clicked to enter a cage. However, now I just practice lockpicking and assassinations, and occasionally use the guards as free beatings to get stronger, one day Jim will escape, but first he must surpass his captors.
With the slave start I break out and attempt to stealth KO guards then jump in a cafe when it fails. Keep this up until your assassin and lock pick are at least 50. Also stealth around the other prisoners and get it up as well. Also pick your shackles and put them in your inventory and sit in the cave and they’ll put more on you. Do it until your inventory is full so as you walk around laboring your getting strength.
The way to do it besides hoping to get glitched guards is to work on stealth, lockpicking and thievery, then steal a guard uniform. You'll need everything though or the disguise doesn't work. Then you can walk out the front gate and walk through HN lands. I hid the stuff I stole inside a barrel on a roof which was right by a cage. Usually there's a HN patrol not too far from Rebirth so you can follow them back to a town sometimes. Keeps the bandits and bone dogs from killing your weak AF band of escapees.
I know I’m really really late but one way to get healed is to just take off your shackles and the Guards will come over and heal you and give new shackles
It's very boring to watch something where everything goes well from save scumming. There's no real stakes to anything. Also restarting series constantly lowers the stakes.
I was mad at first but this start is so awesome compared to the last, the character are already way more fleshed out story wised, I mean most of the character in the other series were fillers recruited in a bar. This is peak Kenshi.
The gate you escaped from in this video inside the camp there is a roadway with a wall in front of it going into the camp. If you save load there with prisoners they think they escaped and will RNG join up. A little glitch I found when I escaped. PS... there is also a mod where you're a prisoner with only 1 char
"God tier"? Kenshi is one of those games that really make you care about the characters, plus the storyline you create as you play for example, I had a character that went through 4 to 5 long comas and had to be carried a total of like 3 in game weeks. Finally I decided that if this character was to fall one more time at full health he will be left to die. Days later we have a run in with a few beak things and ofcourse we all get downed one other character bled out, but as the rest died slowly, the one character that had been in so many comas got up. I had not noticed it at the time but his toughness had increased significantly. He patched the survivors, as they woke up they picked up an unconscious one and no one was left behind. That same character that was carried most of the beginning of the game became stronger by carrying the wonded and supplies for the group. He turned out to be the strongest and the leader. He was one of 4 original characters that survived. Now there's 150 men (mod).
Haha, anybody watching wanting to do this start, if they let you out of your cage to work and you're in stealth mode, stealth overrides "Obedient slave" job, so they will immediately attack you. So, either only sneak at late hours or leave it to level toughness and dodge.
I was playing as a hive and immediately i booked it and escaped. Made it all the way to stack before i was captured. I was thrown in prison and all the gaurds glitched or somethin and started just beatin the crap out of the guy imprisoned next to me. killed him cold blood in front of all the prisoners and continued even after he was dead.
I dont know why they are attacking me. Do you think its because you keep picking the lock right in front of them and getting out of the cage when you are not told to? It could be that but I dont know
Last time I played Kenshi I had a 3 man group and a small house, was doing pretty well until a mob came out of nowhere and murdered us all for no reason :(
it´s better to start over, I saw the first 2 seasons like a prolonged tutorial, not only that you now know how to play which makes it more entertaining!
@trmplays do you (or anyone) know if they will overhaul the vanilla problems or work on stuff like adding a button for going into the menu ingame OR maybe even work on the grafics to upgrade them on a more nowdays state ?. It does not look rdy at all and i have trouble finding dev blogs or a statement of devs where they want to be with this game at the end of 2019 ?
I don't know why a lot of people wants you to finish Kenshi series but hey, I'm a Kenshi player and I love watching you play Kenshi so thanks for making new Seasons.
Cabu died because of something weird that will occasionally happen where an enemy is able to hit someone multiple times very quickly, usually resulting in your character immediately dying or being brutally maimed. Not a savescum in my book
I really enjoy this series, and I went and got the game, too, but I'm having some awwwful performance. Are there any settings you changed up when you started to smooth out the framerate? I might need to try some mods to reduce clutter and such.
I think it's good that he's starting a new one. Kenshi has a lot of exploits and cheese that can cheapen the difficulty. In the end I'd rather him have fun with whatever playthrough he's doing. I know it took me like 5 playthroughs that I felt like I made things to easy before I had one that stuck.
Yeh the easiest exploit in this game by far to to train stealth (Easy to do) than assassination at the exile camp with tora the hornless warrior. After you capture her the other guys don't react to you anymore giving you an easy 90+ assassination. Afterwards, you will need to save many many times while also having high running speed. Go meet the bugmaster (You will die many times) until you can eventually knock him down and just run down south for a while and make a right towards clown steady. Build a small shack-prisoner cage with 2 beds and start training your characters combat stats to 90+ including toughness and stealth. Since his one of the strongest characters in the game you get a major bonus when fighting against him. Best thing, he only aggroes when you attack him meaning he will let you recover without facing the consequences of certain death. Although, if you have low toughness I recommend you to have 1 healer until he has a respected toughness level to guaranteed he will never die. Ones you have mid tier toughness you can stand up up to 15-20 times which is a huge boost to your toughness. But ya you get the point easy stats :) KANG ELITE is my boy by the way I be slicing 20 guys in one swipe MEITOU!!!!!!

Haha, anybody watching wanting to do this start, if they let you out of your cage to work and you're in stealth mode, stealth overrides "Obedient slave" job, so they will immediately attack you. So, either only sneak at late hours or leave it to level toughness and dodge.
"Cabro" LOL! The next one could be Caboom! Also, Cabro's stealth animation is amazing. Lastly, this has been the funniest Kenshi episode so far.
Its been almost 4 months, and Im still waiting
In kenshi you lose one of your limbs when either it gets hit while it's hp is below -100 or it's hp just goes to -100 or lower
loved the other series the characters, idc about saves it almost feels I have lost my progress but hey ur choice i will enjoy it anyways
You need to do that stuff inside, lockpicking is illegal. Which is why they might aggro on you
I love cabo, but I miss naked dude
Would be cool to see if you could start as a slave have a prison brake but where you stat up unarmed to the point you could beat down the guards.
I dont know why they are attacking me. Do you think its because you keep picking the lock right in front of them and getting out of the cage when you are not told to? It could be that but I dont know
yes, you cannot leave the cage unless they let you out to do laboring
Cabrooooo dude like no one is cooler than Cabroooo duuuuude. cowabrodude.
idk why but my stealth never goes up with any of the "exploit" ways of increasing it.
I only play when I smoke some good stuff 🤣💪
God, they have to update squad formations and organization THEY HAVE TO DO IT!!
Or some godlike modder
Last time I played Kenshi I had a 3 man group and a small house, was doing pretty well until a mob came out of nowhere and murdered us all for no reason :(
Wow Cabro and Caboo are....unique
Is lockpicking, yet doesn't know why the guards are beating him...smh
does he continue this series? he said it at the end of the video but i cant find it
it´s better to start over, I saw the first 2 seasons like a prolonged tutorial, not only that you now know how to play which makes it more entertaining!
NO SHADYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SHADYYYNESS kappalul love this channel tho great fucking find !
You can only have 30 people in one named tab / group. But you have a bunch of groups
love this series
This is pretty great
I don't know why a lot of people wants you to finish Kenshi series but hey, I'm a Kenshi player and I love watching you play Kenshi so thanks for making new Seasons.
What mods do you use?
NOT A LEOPLOURODON CHARLIEE
Cabu died because of something weird that will occasionally happen where an enemy is able to hit someone multiple times very quickly, usually resulting in your character immediately dying or being brutally maimed. Not a savescum in my book
pokemon evolution: cabu ---> cabo jr ---> cabo ---> cabro
keep up my man good videos
My sneak doesn't level up in the cages :/
I got my toughness to level 80 on both my people before leaving the camp
4:35 The second guard hits Cabu 10 times with one swing...
Wtf is that?
Did he finish the M&B GOT series?
Session 2 of games of thorne mount and blade when
I really enjoy this series, and I went and got the game, too, but I'm having some awwwful performance. Are there any settings you changed up when you started to smooth out the framerate? I might need to try some mods to reduce clutter and such.
playing a bit scummy is far less annoying for me than people not following through and not finishing series so i hope you stick with this one.
w-
Where's the second episode..?
Seems pretty good
Man i won't be on live ever, when you do lives,it's night in my country
But ya you get the point easy stats :)
KANG ELITE is my boy by the way I be slicing 20 guys in one swipe MEITOU!!!!!!
TOOK LONG ENOUGH, I ACTIVATE NOTIFICATIONS AND DONT RECIEVE ONE FOR DAYS
good series
cabro is creepy when he's sneaking
