Actually a fantastic review. Well done. I will be getting this for a custom 22lr I am having built.

Would you go with this or NF 7-35 ATACR?

Which time? The paper was at 100m, the square plate was 600m, and the round plate was 1107m.

So what you're saying is that I need to upgrade from my Vortex venom 5x25x56?

Not at all. This is exactly what I will be shooting in the sniper series this fall, my friend!

It's nice but its a heavy heavy girl. I see the turrets are slightly different but I wonder if they changed the internals because the old gen 2 4.5-27 had issues where they would disconnect from the outer turrets but they would still click. They let this issue go on for a decade and still never fixed it. Maybe these are different inside. Glasswise they'll probably be no noticeable difference but the new S&B 6-36×56 is way lighter while still having stainless steel internals. If price is close I'd still always go proven. Just me

It’s not even remotely close, there’s no glass improvement on the S&B.

I'm afraid we haven't tested the ATACR. As with most things, we generally recommend that a person chooses what they prefer. Things like reticles, glass quality, eye relief, etc are generally subjective to the individual, and the individual should make the decision.
