Pretty good list except for:
Sonic is insanely overrated A- at best
Sheik is top ten maybe even top five
Kirby is A tier at least
Palutena and Samus are both C tier
Link and toon link should swap
Sephiroth is a super fun fighter but sadly I think he’s bottom ten
Ganon is a tier the only downside is his recovery but he and K Rool deserve at least B
S tier stands for Sonic & Steve

There's no such thing as a character tier list. We have player tier lists. And when players do better or worse we just pretend it's their characters being better or worse.
These characters haven't changed since Sora came out. It's the players who are changing.
The meta has changed. People figure out new things about how to play as and against characters and that’s what changes their positions on the tier list.
Player results definitely influence the tier lists, theres no doubt about it, but there are objective truths to character placements. You wouldnt rank dr mario higher than joker, for example, because joker is objectively a better character than dr mario.

@@finncallahan8994He’s obviously taking about the side-b since it’s named spindash, his down-b is called spin-charge in which you have to mash b to gain additional hitboxes, so it’s the side-b since spindash only hits/kills enemies using one hitbox
This is really more of the peak of the top players tier list than an actual character tier list. Because regardless of skill level Kazuya is still broken along with Mythra/Phyrra. Meanwhile a reckless snake is just a dead Snake. But I'm happy that Snake, who was thought of as low tier, since brawl has come out in the world stage as the top tiers despite having been nerfed since then.

I’m somewhat convinced that people really just don’t know how to use Kirby. I’m not saying Kirby’s top tier, but he definitely has more options than people give him credit for. Not enough people utilize copy abilities or range attacks, and when in close range, combo strings are fairly easy with just a couple simple reads.
honestly, if they just let kirby have a decent speed, he'd be a great brawler

Its the tail hitbox, every game mewtwo had a tail hitbox he was trash, and every game de didnt he was a top tier
The crazy thing is, for the most part, everyone is still viable. The bottom tiers in Ultimate would be considered mid-tier at least in most other games.
It's just that some of the low tiers really struggle with some of the very high tiers.
But then again, everyone struggles with Steve and Sonic...
mostly because of everything about steve and sonic.
At that’s why the game is fun, because of how balanced it is, especially if you compare it to previous titles that had a definite best character. For ultimate, the best character really just comes down to your playstyle.

For the record, E tier in this game is like B tier in Smash 4. Aside from the top 4 tiers (mostly), this game is really well-balanced.

While of course the people who do the greatest with a character play a big factor, so does people's view on how far you could see that character going based off their how much someone could do with it, be it best player or worst. Even Tweek has said whenever he fought Sonix he couldn't imagine him losing against him.

The worst character are easy to fight with but the reason why they don’t make it to A tier is there sometimes slow or they have horrible recovery thats my guess for being it on low tier
Kirby is the most powerful smash character, he can eat anything, live and get its powers. He can eat the sun and melt people, Kirby should be in S+ tier, Kirby solos
