Oh my god thank you for this video! The angles and walkthrough were the clearest I found. (Though unfortunately I don't own a desolder gun, so just a lot more heating and wiggling for me.) Never done this before but managed to salvage my Naga thanks to this! Oh and to anyone else doing this, I used Kailh GM 2.0 (Blue) Switches and they work great, a little more "thud"-ey, but aren't known to exhibit the same double clicking issue as the OEM switches,
Thank you for this! The parts I got from aliexpress (including the bottom pads), and the video instructions are very clear, I really enjoy my Razer Naga Trinity again, cheers mate!
Great guide! I have a cheap solder iron from ali, I can set the temp on it ( hope it's accurate) what kind of temp should I be using to try and take them out? and what kind of temp to solder the pins back in? Thank you !!
Hi, Thank you very much for this video, I will follow the steps when my microswitches arrive next month. However, do you have a video on how to fix side panel buttons in this Razer Naga Trinity mouse or where to buy a reliable side panel?
Glad it helped you , i don't have a video on the side buttons , i presume they are tactile switches or some sort of pcb surface mount switch , i would try cleaning the contacts if its intermittent.
Hello what microswitches did you buy and do you think the Height of the microswitch matters. I can find only 1 model in my hometown and theres a bit of difference in the height
Hey there, I'm having an issue where the side panel of this mouse is not be detected unless I apply pressure on it, it does the same with all of the panels, any ideas?
@@MicroChipz after cleaning I was still having the same problem I did however notice that one of the gold pins on the side gets stuck after putting the side panel on which probably explains why I need to add pressure, I’m wondering if there is any way to fix this?
I kinda.. broke it.. all buttons work except left/right click / 2 switches which i replaced.. I think i know what i break.. i don't have desolder gun.. so i used metod to warm up the pins and kinda.. "remove it" while i taking the switch back ( to take it off ) and i think i fried that area on the board because it was too much heat i guess.. Is there a way to check if i literaly break it or maybe it has no good contact ( i solder it nicely and switch is all way down ) ? For anyone who want to do this.. learn from my mistake, don't apply too much heat and be patient.. it's weird to do this alone, holding the pcb and trying to heat + taking switch off ( that's the only what i think did and it doesn't work for me, maybe is not this ). Anyway straight forward tutorial, thank you so much showing us this..
VERY helpful!!! Do you happen to know of an optical switch that will fit in there? Also, I actually kinda laughed at trying to re-use mouse skates. Buy new ones, they are cheap!
Does anyone know the part number for the switch that sits on the S1B port of the motherboard that is the switch on the rear of the scroll wheel? looks a lot like these 3 prong switches but is 2 prongs and smaller in size. Thanks in advance
Hey there, can anyone point me to where i can get microswitch that goes under the roll? It's smaller than "clickers" that goes under lmb and rmb and i can't seem to find the right one.

If I wanted to replace the mouse wheel press down switch, what replacement would you suggest? In your video it seems to be a smaller switch

Hi, sorry it didn’t work out for you , trying to get the switch out is tricky at the best of times , double sided board and not having 3 hands .

is Omron D2fc-f-k(50m) compatible?
