I need more of settled on these podcasts or just any tbh , his voice his explanations , his stories… he has a natural gift of being able to portray or depict something with words alone. When I first open the video, i was like “why the fuck!? 3 hours!?” But did not even notice the passage of time after being 2 hours and 43 mins in.. its amazing
I actually have my wife and brothers watching McTile and the escape rooms and loving every second. None of them play osrs. We all watched Gielinor games together and they all were rooting for Settled the whole way through!

This podcast is criminally under-rated. This is up there with RSC as to how important it is for the community. I hope that with time you can fully master your craft and gain the respect that you deserve for your dedication ❤
It's funny listening to last episode with EV and Saebae saying "I couldn't imagine how fucking bored I would be if I ate rice, chicken, and broccoli every day" to Settled saying that's what he eats LOL
I think the longest running OSRS podcast is "The Widerness Podcast" at over 200 episodes starting back in 2016
Its insane seeing this from a year ago and watching MrBeast talk a few months ago about how he started incorporating more story telling in his videos .
I personally love the podcasts where you occasionally have visuals to reference stuff pertains to what’s being discussed. Like swampletics showing his thumbnails, etc.
Oh this is so cool, settled just hit his 1m subs and put out nightmare mode 1hp series. So I’m guessing that is what he was talking about wanting to make so badly
The school comment hits home. Its very insightful that he realized that its such a restricted assumption to make when your mind is so young and you haven't experienced all the great things life has to offer.
Settled is the man. Young guy but driven & motivated as fuck. Keep going man.
Even as someone who's played Runescape for 4 hours+ a day on average for the last 3 years, Settled videos give me insight into topics I thought I knew everything about. Man could explain the multiplication table to a math teacher and it would be interesting and not condescending.
I absolutely loved the dynamic here, and only wished it was longer. This was a fantastic podcast!
I listened to those same Mr. Beast podcasts and I knew right away that Settled would soak that shit right up! He is truly the Mr. Beast of Runescape. Swamp man good.

This is by far the best sae bae cast so far and im only half way through.
I didn't listen to these for so long just because I'm not usually a fan of things this long and I would never finish them but I've quickly grown to love your podcast. I always end up bookmarking the ones I'm part way through and coming back to finish when I'm in need of something I don't have to look at while I do some of the less AFK grinds. Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy your work, Sae Bae. Thanks for making the grind more bearable.
Just FYI not the oldest podcast nor podcast with the most episodes at least in RS in general; RSBNB has been going for over a decade now and they have 938 episodes. For context btw... remember SwiftKit? Or as it was originally known, SwiftSwitch? Yeah, so, RSBANDB are the guys who made that. They also have a podcast. That's how long they've been going, how old they are. It's weekly and they have over 900 episodes. That's WELL over 15 years.

They need to bring back the slacking off podcast, them three together is hilarious and i think most people would want it again
i like how almost every guest is like "is fuck okay to say?" or "can i say shit on this podcast?" meanwhile you've already said fuck and shit like 5 times

surprising to see how much audience reaction plays in settleds vids. i hear a lot of artists say ' i only make art for myself'. i mean every successful youtuber has pandered mre or less with the algorithm, clickbait titles or thumbnails, or less effort daily videos.. very interesting that settled edits his narration to speak to new and exp audiences. i never noticed that... i only noticed him explaining a very basic osrs thing recently other than that it seemed pretty seamless.
idk if u dont pander and u make very experiemtnal or offensive stuff u wont get views. somehow southpark broke that rule but its mostly offensive and not very experiemtnal... the episodes are morality plays about current events.
part of me is like 'ah dont pander at all, great work happens by not pandering and being fearless' but it depends what ur dfeinition of great is.. i mean youtube/internet/memes are kind of a new art form themselves... theres a logic to them that seems adjacent to art history. maybe its just a rehash of folk art.
settled in addition to dmm was what brought me back to osrs after the guild wars 1 anet treason. the storytelling aspect was ofc what made it compelling.
