    Thanks for the helpful video. I have the large storage bins on the way. I don't think the support brackets' locations will match the structural frame of my toy hauler, but that really isn't a problem. I'll just cut them off and weld them back on in the needed position. Good to know that the frame for the bins is pretty substantial and I don't necessarily need the center support. Thanks! Don from Florida

    A: not water tight. so put nothing there that can not get wet.
    B: using 3/8 bolts, grade 5 is more than enough.
    grade 8, has a 150,000 psi rating.
    grade 5, has a 105,000 to 120,000 psi.
    and the stronger the more they just snap. lower will bend long before they break.
    grade 2, 60,000 to 4,000 psi. but i would not use them in something that could fall off on the rd.
    i do not know if any change for coarse or fine thread. but use a lock nut, and covered by a nylock nut.and use washers at the frame and hanger mounting points, as these items will flex on the rd.

    Missed this one ! love it ! Don't know if I need it since it is mostly just 2 retired folks ! But what I really saw was the up graded shackle's on the (Cree 3000?) I did the up grade on our 2910bh last March before delivery but did not get the up graded shackles ! Will do that ASAP ! Did buy a extra leaf spring set and have in the rear storage ! you Might want to get one from lippert or GD and put in storage kind of like having a spare tire , you do so much off road an extra set of springs is a must ! I think GD charged us 90$ For 1 set so 180$ for the pair ! Love the Vid's You guys are Awesome ! The Cub is just !!! Wow ! Hope to see you some time on the road ! Going to Florida camping Jan and Feb ! Tampa ? Kelly

    convert the 5er to a goose neck. and flip the axles, and it becomes very off road capable. pending the size.

    Great video, I liked the clamps. I bought Lowes Adamax Adamax 14 Gauge Channel Strut EG 10-FT, Item #3725612 Model #SC14-10-EG. I plan to run them across the underside of the trailer. I have V grooves to make the under carriage shield more rigid. I cannot mount this flush to the frame. Running perpendicular to the frame also gives me something solid to mount the center brackets. to. And it was inexpensive, less than $60 for 2 10 foot pieces.

    Careful, the rear tires will fill those bins with water and mud.
    I would have installed it in front of the axles.

    • @AdventureEndeavor
      @AdventureEndeavor  2 года назад +2

      Yeah we thought about that Mark. Unfortunately there is no where in front of the axles. We will be very selective with what we put in these bins. They also have drain holes for water.

    Great idea. Was wondering if its waterproof? It looks like the box sticks out a little bit at the skirting? But all in all its great extra storage space for sure

    • @AdventureEndeavor
      @AdventureEndeavor  2 года назад +2

      They are not waterproof. I would say water resistant. We plan on putting items that can get wet out there. Thanks for watching.

    How much ground clearance was lost by adding this box?

    • @AdventureEndeavor
      @AdventureEndeavor  Год назад +1

      Not much and it doesn't really matter because it's right behind the tire. It will never drag.

      So far we still like it. It DOES get wet inside though. We keep our rug in there and some sewer parts.
