This video was very interesting indeed. Aurora's range of nibs is more extensive than I thought.

I absolutely love Aurora. Of my current collection of 65 pens, 28 are Aurora (including seven 88s). The other Italian brands I love most are Montegrappa and Stipula. ❤️
Aurora’s and Sailor’s gold nibs are my most loved nibs today.
I actually have all of Aurora’s wonderful nibs, except EF. The ones I love most are M, Italic, Flex, Stub and Goccia.
Aurora’s italic nib is the very best factory italic nib I’ve ever used. It’s really unique and delightful to write with.
Many thanks for your excellent presentation of these terrific nibs.

Are Aurora nibs a lot like Sailor nibs? I have 2 Sailors and adore them but both are Medium-Fine. Would an Aurora Medium be about the same line as those would be? Plus the feedback?? I'm really thinking about buying an Aurora Internationale. I've wanted one for 2 or 3 years now. any help would be appreciated!!

@@williamcatalano1762 I’d say Aurora’s gold nibs are mainly similar to Sailor’s in that both have a very distinct, consistent and very pleasant feedback to the writing. I love it. But overall, the nibs are quite unique on their own. Aurora and Sailor nibs are similar and quite different, at once. Most people with experience in owning and using Aurora and Sailor pens seem to either love the nibs a lot or not care about them at all. I’m a great fan of both brands and their made-in-house nibs. I’d add I still much prefer Sailor’s 21k nibs to their 14k.
To mr, Sailor’s M-F (medium-fine) nib seems to write a very fine line. Aurora’s Medium nib writes mostly like a true Western M nib, and occasionally like a Western fine nib. I have Aurora’s gold nibs (both 14k and 18k) in every size they ever offered, including the specialty nibs.
Aurora’s Internazionale is a fabulous pen with a lot of class and charm. 👌Very expensive, but totally worth it to me. I have the Jade with a sublime factory Italic nib. And a recently released all-ebonite model (Sands) with a great Fine nib. The Internazionale oozes vintage vibes. But still feels modern, too. It’s a fantastic pen. One of my indispensable favorites. You’d do well to finally get one yourself.

@@sajjadhusain4146I want to go after the jade green or the Black with rose gold. You have a lot of good information. My Sailors are only the 21K nibs. The 14K are mostly in the smaller pens and my hands are almost too big for a 1911L or regular sized pro gear. But as I said I do love Those nibs. I love how unique they are. Pilot nibs are good, but are kind of boring to me. I want it to do something different somehow you know? I got very bored with Jowo nibs as well. Yeah it does ooze vintage vibes, that is why I want it most. But I also know Aurora have very good in house made nibs. I haven't heard anything bad about their nibs except that on occasion they could be a bit on the dry side.

@@williamcatalano1762 Yea, the jade green is truly lovely. I even wanted the lapis blue to pair it with. And the black w/rose gold is an outright classic, too. I eventually bought the ebonite model as my second Internazionale.
Sailor’s 21k nibs are truly sublime. Especially the large sized one on the great King of Pens. Have you not ever considered buying a Sailor KoP? Or do you already own one? That nib alone, arguably, merits the steep price of a KoP. Luckily, I own three of them.
Aurora’s nibs are right up my alley. I will agree with those who say that sometimes they tend to feel somewhat dry. But still very consistent, great flow and almost flawless writers. Aurora is also the Italian brand that seems, by far, to have the least QC issues out of the box. Aurora is still very overlooked in the U.S and U.K. - most pen enthusiasts still seem to constantly pine for and praise the likes of Montblanc and Pelikan more. For very comparably priced premium fountain pens, I’d take any Aurora over MB and Pelikan any time.

@@sajjadhusain4146I want a KOP eventually. Right now I'm trying to go after more harder to get models. I just got an M400 Brown tortoise from NOS from the Germany Pelikan warehouse and an M800 Renaissance brown. I've longed for both of those pens since I got into fountain pens. I agree on the Aurora being very undervalued in the community. You barely see anyone reviewing them. The prices can be steep, But I feel they are worth it. I absoultely adore all of my Pelikans. I don't own any Montblancs. Right now the debate in my mind is a Montblanc or this Aurora... It's a hard one haha But I feel I can always get a 149 or 146. So the tie breaker almost goes to the Aurora.
