I did a 8 day trip last year on some of the same roads. We started in Truckee and rode to Susanville, then around Lassen Lake Alminore,Portola , back via Davis Lake and to Truckee. Best trip we have done so far in the Sierras.
its nice we can see the world through other vids, except for traffic must have been nice to get to the paved road, lots of nice scenery and older history in some buildings you went by
