    After selling the land, the amount of capital gain can be utilised for purchasing a house property. The property purchased can be made in the joint name, when the sold was in a single owner name.

    கேப்பிட்டல் கையின் Tax கால்குலேசன் எவ்வளவுக்கு வருதோ (after Indexation) அதற்கு மட்டும் பாண்ட் வாங்கினால் போதுமா? மீதம் உள்ள பணத்தை ஒயிட் தானே. அதை வேறு FD , NSC., Mf போன்றவற்றில் முதலீடு செய்யலாம் அல்லவா?
    One more doubt. Instead of purchasing bond, shall I purchase plot for that profit amount i.e taxable portion . Please clarify Sir.

    If the property is a gift from parents , cost 9f acquisition is only the registration cost , right ?
    What if we do not have proof for land development ? At the time of making expenses, we did not have the intention of selling . Hence we don't have proof . What to do then ?

    Sir nicely explained. One ancestral residential property dated b4 2001 was sold for Rs 73 lacs in Feb 24. 5 persons r the owners of that property. In that case, whether 10% TDS has to b recovered from the seller, due to the fact that it has exceeded 50 lacs or with the share of 5 persons, it is coming down to Rs. 14 lacs each approx, less than that limit of 50 lacs.
    Another doubt, out of the five, one person is going to buy second hand flat and if so, whether that purchase of the flat should b completed not later than 6 months of the sale ie b4 Aug 24. No Advance agreement has been made so far till july 24. That person has deposited the sale proceeds in his savings account and not in capital gain scheme account. Is it in order? What to do, your explanation sir

    Sir vanakkam ...one doubt... in Sale agreement ,actual purchase price is noted against Govt guidelines value .sale registration be done based on guidance value ...whether,as a seller ,I have to keep the copy of sale registration copy for filing tax for capital gains

    I have purchases the flat fromKHB. DURING Sep, 2022FOR RS.20.00 INCLUDING REGISTRATION.After wards I have spent Rs.1.10 lakhs forvertified flooring and anti skid tiles in the both bathrooms. Woood work I have spent rs.1.39 lakhs. Replacing windows with globin glass with frames for rs. 95000/_ in case if I dispose this flat for Rs.1.20 croers how much I will have to pay tax. Kindly help me.I aged 78 years.

    Capital gain tax when we sell if more revenue recived. Gain Tax paid . But if any loss occured during the sale of proerty can we deduct the loss from our slab rate of income tax filing
