I just finished making this and even the batter was deliciously fluffy. I made a frost icing 100-120 g soft butter 1/2 tblspoon lemon juice I cup of icing sugar This recipe is a few ingredients but a lot of flavour This is my go to lemon cake Thanks Neha, I will try your other recipes ❤❤❤ I didn't have a beater all done by whisking until butter and sugar are pale white and eggs are mixed in thoroughly Give it a go guys, you won't regret it ..yumm
Hey Neha, thanks for sharing the recipe. I'm gonna try this out. Just a suggestion for the zest, use the other smallest grater side that you have and avoid any white part. Alternatively you can buy a zester. It's much easier with it.

Tried this today, made some minor deviations on the way but the rsult is fabbbbulous. Thank you for sharing this recipe! I grated the zest smaller as suggested below and 1 hour in the oven, but this could be due to the oven performance. All in all, fab results and a big thank you for this!!!

I tried your recipe. Wonderful! Also, took a few tips from your fans: added 1/2 teaspoon salt and put lemon simple syrup over the warm cake. I changed the order of mixing the ingredients: added the flour in after the eggs, then the other ingredients. This is now my "go to" lemon cake recipe. Thank you again.
I tried this recipe, guys. Believe me, this is the best recipe of lemon cake ever. I bake often, and I was surprised with this recipe. In the middle of the recipe, the process seems very ridiculous 😅 after putting the lemon juice. The texture changes completely it's look like curds. It's very funny to realise, but please follow the steps. Very important . Yummy cake and the flavor of lemon are present. In the end, I make a syrup with lemon juice and some slide of lemon 🍋 then I put it on the top of the cake . So delicious ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I will write the recipe in the notebook.

Yay my lemon cake is super yummy n fluffy in first try by referring to this video. 🥳🥳 Since she didnt quantify the lemon juice, i adjust the amount of flour until the texture of the mixture look similar to the video 😂 it turn out great!!! Thank you
One should never crack eggs direct into the mixture cos sometimes the egg could be stale or rotten.. Rather crack them in a bowl one at a time and then add into your mixture... Just something I had learnt the hard way...
Baked up perfect in my 9.5” springform pan. I used a bottom parchment liner & butter/floured it. Mine took 33 minutes at 350F. I added salt & vanilla. Intoxicating aroma. Thank you!

You should never grate the lemon to the white part, only the yellow, as the white is bitter
