Cat's have a spirit, and a connection, a bond to us that is eternal. All Cats Go To Heaven was created to provide some comfort, joy, meaning, peace and solace for us humans when our beloved dies or journeys toward this life's end.
When my dad died, he wanted the song Amazing Grace played at his funeral--music only, bagpipes. It was beautiful and emotional and touched the heart and soul.
Some time later, when I was meditating in a beautiful cemetery near where I live, I heard the haunting sounds of the bagpipe playing Amazing Grace floating over the hills. Incredibly ethereal and beautiful. Heavenly.
That music touches my heart and soul every time, so I have chosen it for the soundtrack to the prayer I wrote for all us humans who have loved and lost their beloved best animal friend.
I hope it means as much to you as it does to me. --BJ

Loss my beautiful girl last night to Kidney failure. 14 years of love and companionship but I was with her at the vets when she went. It was heartbreaking but despite all the treatment it was time for her to go home. I'll never stop loving her and will be with her again. All my love xx.

I understand exactly how you feel...My cat died a few weeks ago, but she was all alone I wasn't with her. Guilt and grief have eaten me up. I hate when people tell me she's in a better place...But my place would be better with her.

I can hardly type. So sad. Glad I found this. Made me cry yet again but maybe in a better way I guess. We shared 18 years my baby, my friend. I am missing him so. Who will I tell my secrets to now? I don't want to go to sleep... I can't. He won't be there when I awake. Just a cat? I think not.

Jim Keller I think the depth of grief catches a lot of us by surprise, Jim. Especially when it comes to men and cats. My husband was the same when our boy Prince died. He was struck with a painful grief that he just wasn't expecting. It was really beautiful, though, to see how he felt about Prince. You must have a great capacity for love, Jim, to experience this grief. My thoughts are with you

Amazing how everyday things, little things that I took for granted have now become huge in my memory. Just his sleeping place for example. I'd seen him there 1000s of times. Now just looking there kills me. The sound of his yowling at 3 am because he wanted to be pet. That was so annoying most of the time. Guilty feelings. Would give anything to hear his midnight cries again. Nothing left but to accept it.
Yeah, don't know why most men don't get on with cats. I still have 4. All rescued. All about 13-14. Going to be rough going for the next few years.

had to let my boy cat go last night. neurologist said he wouldn't get better - he couldn't sit up or stand. if i had kept giving him hyper-thyroid medicine, maybe could have had more than just 15 yrs together. "You're my boy and I love you" ~ I told him over & over.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Tim. I hope time has acted as a healer for you. I lost my boy Eddie just this morning and I the feeling of emptiness is overwhelming. I cried my heart out for him the last 3 days as I knew I was losing him and had to put an end to his life. He had acute kidney failure and although he fought on it finally caught up with him at the age of 17. I'm going to miss him terribly and came here for solace.
That's so sad.. My cat was six, and he passed away, and no one knows why. He was at the shelter for two years before we took him in... Miss him so much..

It's between this and having my Kim die of leukemia for the worst experience I've endured. Twilight went Beyond The Rim 8/24. She was in the family since 2003. I'll always miss that little lovebug of a panther. She may have only been 8 lbs in her last months but she had the biggest heart.

Yesterday, I lost my best friend "Isees" He was my anchor and my motivation in this world. I had him for over 15 years and I never thought that I was going to loose him. I remember him every minute, every hour. I cant stop crying knowing that he is not at home anymore. I'm pretty sure we will meet one day, meantime, I have to get used to not seeing him anymore. Michael Nicolalde I'm so so sorry for your pain Michael. I understand how deep this loss is for you, especially as you describe your baby as your 'anchor'. Without an anchor, we feel purposeless and unsure about life. But I can assure you, from my experience at least, that you WILL meet again. Give yourself plenty of time to grieve, Michael, and if possible, perhaps you can one day take another furbaby into your home and your life---it will help to heal your broken heart and it will also honour Isees. Lost my wee buddy 21/12/2020, 14yrs of unconditional love, miss him so much.
Sent this to a friend who loves cats and fosters them unconditionally. I am bawling, because I know that God created our furry companions to comfort us; & we are to care for them. This video took my breathe away. My dear cats have,& continue to be a vessel of God's strength & grace/mercy in my life. This is the most moving video I can say, THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN. I fear I'll lose my cat soon. As of now he's resting comfortably on my dad's bed. But with his re-occuring problem it's only a matter of time before I have to say goodbye for the last time. I opted to take him home Monday so I could spend what time we have left together and I can take lots of pics, videos, tell Salem I love him, hold him and do everything I can at least one last time. What I want most is for Salem to always remember that I love him very much. I'll be making a memorial video for Salem either here or on my other channel, I would love to use this for him. It's beautiful, sad but makes me smile. It best describes our relationships with our cats.
Cried over his last breath when he passed away
I recently lost my 15 year old manx after 5 years of medical issues. He was my grandson kitty and I loved him so much! I feel like a part of me is gone with him. Trying to move on with the love we had in my heart!

RIP to my sweet old girl Buffy who died on the 2/2 /18 . She was a beautiful tabby, which just came into her house as a very small kitten and just stole our hearts . She dead at age 14 years of kidney failure . Until we meet again in heaven
I'm so sorry!!... when I was 5 i adopted an elderly kitty. A tabby with golden yellow eyes.. But on June 18, 2017 I had to say my last goodbyes to him.. he died at age 14 of old age and I miss him forever. But this video makes me certain I'll see him again one day

Lost my Miss Lily on April 14, 2019 at age 11. I got her from a rescue center that had her for 2 years.She was born with health problems and no one would adopt her. The second I went into that room and sat down in that rocker here you came and jumped in my arms, that was the second I feel in love. The 7 years I spent with her were the best 7 years of my life. At 55 and health problems of my own I will be seeing you again only this time you will be in my arms forever. I miss you so much little girl. I still see that grey and white coat every morning. We just lost our little cat and I miss her very much, I believe we'll be reunited someday but we sure do feel her absence. I had a dream, the night after she passed. In the dream she was young and healthy and playing with a white cat, one I didn't recognize. They were jumping, trying to catch a lizard and having great fun.
In real life, our cat hadn't been able to jump the last month of her life.

Thank you, BJ Burman, for sharing this video and your experiences. I know that it's helped many others as it's helped me. (Not without shedding tears of course, but that's part of the process.) We helped our beloved Bengal Bimini cross over a week ago. He was 17, and he'd been my earth-angel for 12. Mornings are still difficult. So is bedtime. And coming home from wherever. But each day is a tiny bit better, and I am just now finding some solace in his peace and freedom. Thanks.

I will never forget any of my fur angels & I cry missing you all the time till I see you all in Heaven/Paradise & I thank you all for being in my life. It's been 6 months now and I still miss my beloved kitty Tammy....the pain never goes away...of all the cats I have had she was very unique and special...I loved them all but Tammy was my favorite....she was a feral cat when she found me one night as I was walking out of my garage...she meowed very loudly and ran to the front window and stayed awhile...the next day she followed my daughter home from school so I was meant to have her, she was part of my life for 11 years...I have her ashes now and will never, ever forget her...thank you for this excellent video to honor our beloved kitties.

It seemed to be the most suitable place; I heard it was Egypt where cats and us humans developed our great friendship. It was an honor to know such a great creature and spend so much time with him. My cat, Laptop just passed away 45 minutes ago. Kidney failure progressed rapidly although I tried everything to change course or at least slow it down. He knew more neighbors than I do as he would visit everyone on my street and greet those passing by. I have lost my rock, my strength in this world. There's only silence.

I really do understand how you feel about Oslo. My Feynman was with me for 15 years. Of course, we humans live much longer, which means we have to live with the loss.
