    You guys gotta listen to this album in sequence. It flows like a movie or a symphony. Jail is the “curtains opening” song. It’s the setting of the stage. It’s the introduction to the show.

      I made the mistake of jumping around to find the bangers. dumb move on my part, it’s purposefully sequenced, and all the Part 2’s need to replace the part 1’s, or not, depending on your taste.

    I feel Kanye is expressing guilt in this song, accounting for his sins and asking for forgiveness. Jay came in like big bro with advice, basically telling him to acknowledge his mistakes but move forward.

    This album made me feel things. Moon, Jesus lord, lord I need you, no child left behind. And I'm not religious. But Ye speaks through his sounds and production, you just feel it. Just listened to CLB and tho it's fire af, not one time did I get emotional on that album. It's just different.

      JCole is GOAT for me, & I just got introduced to his art and character a few months ago.
      I can say the only reason that I know (unwillingly) more about Kanye is because of clout., & even w/all that, never been a seeking fan of his music, just respectful of his existence as a human.
      For me, there was way too much echo longevity on his vocals, and I, like George was waiting for the drums and sound to pick up. It reminds me of a time I was stoned and put on some meditation type tunes, and realized after 5 whole ass minutes in that I was waiting for the beat to drop. ☠️

    This is not my music. I'm not a big lyrics guy in general, which seems to be where this song's biggest appeal comes from. My partner has found a really strong connection to this album after some heavy shit happened in their life.     Hov’s verse on this is subpar compared to Jay Elec-entendra-onica’s verse on Jesus Lord. And Ye dropped one of his best story telling verse on that track too. If y’all are going to react to any other song off this album it has to be that one.

    I like this joint...The album is DOPE...I wouldn't call it a CLASSIC but it is DOPE...There's definitely some EXPERIMENTAL music on the album. MOST of it HITS the MARK and SOME of it DOESN'T...The IDEA of the ALBUM is a MASTERPIECE. The EXECUTION of the ALBUM falls a bit SHORT of that, but like I said it is STILL a DOPE album!!!...#GiveMeJESUS
