- Join us on a breathtaking journey as we embark on a thrilling hiking and wild camping adventure deep into the mesmerizing Scottish wilderness! In this unforgettable RUclips video, you'll witness the awe-inspiring beauty of Scotland's untamed landscapes, pristine lochs, cascading waterfalls, and rugged mountains.
Get ready to be inspired as we conquer a strenuous 4-hour hike, pushing our limits as we traverse streams, witness magical waterfalls, and ultimately arrive at an unbelievably secluded loch. We pitch our tent on a white sandy beach, where we're treated to a picturesque sunset view that will leave you in awe.
On day two, we tackle a formidable 843m peak, conquering the pathless and steep terrain to reach the summit in under 2 hours. You'll experience the adrenaline rush and triumph as we stand atop the mountain, reveling in panoramic views that stretch as far as the eye can see.
But it's not all about the challenging hikes. We take a refreshing plunge into the cool waters of the loch, revitalizing our tired bodies and soothing our souls. Energized, we set out to catch our dinner, hoping to snag some wild brown trout. After hours of persistence, we finally reel in two beautiful specimens, with one particularly impressive catch that promises a delicious meal.
As evening sets in, we find solace and protection from the notorious Scottish midges in the comfort of our tent. With the rain gently tapping on the rain fly, we drift off to sleep, mesmerised by the purple-hued sky above.

Eze, keep doing exactly what you're doing. I was reading through the comments. Know you're doing the right thing. Your intention is good and pure, not to mention it works. You're 100% correct. That's how zoos do conservation efforts around the world. Granted some people take issue with that too, but without them more animals would be extinct. I digress... Get people to care by experiencing it vicariously through the art you make. You are spreading love and light, and doing your part to make the world a better place. It's more than clear you do this out or a passion for nature, and not to get rich. Follow that massive heart of yours.
Namaste 🙏 ♥
Thanks Andrew my man!! Very awesome and kind words. I couldn't agree more!!
If I ever live to see Scotland I don’t think I’d ever be able to leave.
Scotish wilderness, a loch and your own secluded beach with blue skies..perfection..apart from the midges of coarse.
haha ALMOST !!! Really was absolutely STUNNING!! One of my favourite trips ever, thanks for watching!
When you said it was 26 degrees then I thought you could not possibly be in Scotland. But then... the midge fest arrived... yup, that's Scotland! Beautiful mate, such an amazing landscape just on our doorstep. Thanks for taking us along :)
hahaha yeah exactly! Thanks for coming along pal!!
Love the video, just trying to work out where it is.
I was on Skye last week with the good weather and barely seen a midge.
Skye midges are the most vicious so it was a proper treat to enjoy the sun and hike the bad step ☀️
I dont usually watch things like this, but I really enjoyed it.
Glad you enjoyed it! That's awesome to know, maybe the start of a new hobby or interest!!
My plan for this year was to wild camp multiple times but I'm having to put my plans on hold as my miss is pregnant and will be dropping around summertime and is taking priority 😂
Congrats!! Wow that's wonderful!! Wishing you many many blessings to you all!
@@EzeAdventurer thank you
The quality, the views, the weather...simply amazing!!!

Your videos are very inspirational. I’m camping outdoors for the first time in my life tomorrow, I’m 60. Cheers from the 🇺🇸

Class video Eze! Stunning scenery, great to see you taking the Mrs out camping too, something I rarely get to Do since having kids, take the opportunity when you can 😃
Thanks so much buddy! I know re the kids, we have 4 kids and Niki's mum is here from Argentina, plus we got a little bit extra help for those 2 days and ran away. So worth it buddy, nothing like that in terms of bonding and quality time
@@EzeAdventurer 4 is harder to find babysitters for, for sure 😂 but that’s what grandparents are for! 😉 Definitely…Needs to be done every blue moon for our own sanity. Stay safe Eze 🙌

Great video. Seemed like a nice spot 👍
Thank you!!
Hi
I’m sure I bumped into you guys last year coming down from the Cheviot via hen hole?
Your remember my wife having a cow panic 😅
Hahaha don't think that was us as we've never been there lol!!
Brilliant trip Eze, looks like the midge weren’t too bad. Stunning loch especially in the sunshine, was a bit dull when I was there. Did you visit the “grey man” while there ? Cheers Paul
hey buddy!!! Yeah really comes alive in the sunshine you're right. Ohh nooo I completely forgot about that shoot!! I really wanted to see it so silly!! For next time!
Always love the music of your videos. I am also a big van of Tony Anderson. Also recommend Light by Jon Bryant. Would love to know the name of the first song.... o and 26 degrees is not hot ;)
hahah yeah 26c in Scotland is decent ! But yeah nothing crazy! Thanks I'll have to check them out! I don't remember the track name but will tell you if I come across it again!
New sub here. Really enjoyable 20 mins. Loved it. Full of interesting stuff and i cant waut to see more
Welcome aboard! Awesome thank you, appreciate that! More to come :-) !
It's actually called Murder Hole simply because it was 'moved' there under artistic license for a book I forget the name of. The actual Murder Hole was I think a well into which the bodies of mugging victims were thrown.
100% right ! I read this after making the video and felt a bit stupid thanks for the clarification!
Absolutely wonderful video, backed by amazing music & breathtaking scenery. I have recently got into wild camping & glad I found your channel. It looked like an amazing time you had! The trout looked very tasty too! I have subbed & look forward to watching more! Have a great weekend. Marcus
Thanks for the sub, I'm glad you found the channel and sounds like you have some awesome adventures ahead. Wild camping is the best!!
Beautiful place. So peaceful.
What is that Beautiful piece of folk music that you used?
Thanks so much!!! I love that track! I think it's this one:
www.musicbed.com/songs/stillness/51747
Stillness by The Invention of Flight
Great!
Thanks Steff! Keep your channel going!
Amazing 🔥😍
Thanks Yuri!!
The midges are the bane of my hiking existence, I cannot stand them and ruines it for my some of the time. Apparently "Avon skin so soft" moisturiser is amazing and they stay away from you if you put it on so ill need to try it.
Thanks so much!! Believe it or not, I've tried that before and didn't really work out too well for me to be honest. I find headnet/bugshirt to be best solution!
Such beauty and wildlife. Another wonderful video.
Thanks Eze 😊
PS. What was that dehydrated meal you decided was so good?
Thanks so much for the support! The good one was from Real Turmat, sweetcorn casserole, highly recommended!
Awesome video and great catches! Just found your channel and you have a new subscriber😊
Thanks and welcome!!! Glad you found me :-) !! Hope you enjoy the content thanks for commenting!
Very enjoyable video, muy bueno. ¿La chica es argentina o uruguaya? je je
Argetina :-) tmb jaja mi esposa aventurera ❤️
Good video
Thanks appreciate the support!
Wow
Thanks so much!
Another wonderful location, mate 👍. Super your wife came along too.
It was really hot there but you wore trousers. I had skin cancer last year on my leg as a result of teaching PE outside and not applying sunscreen!!! I’m looking for trousers that you can wear in the summer. What were yours? Cheers Dave
Thanks so much Dave!
So sorry to hear that buddy!
So the trousers I use I absolutely LOVE. So much so that I have two pairs!
Super comfy, tons of pockets, quick dry and I mean QUICK! And the legs zipper off too into very comfy shorts.
Here they are: amzn.to/3Xs7r5e
Columbia Men's Silver Ridge 2 Convertible Hiking Trousers
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I’ll get a pair.
Cheers mate 👍
@@davebarney3369 Pleasure!
Can I ask what sized backpack you tend to use on 1-2night solo trips? Is 45L too small to carry tent/sleeping bag/pad/clothes/food etc?
Hello mate, I use an Exxon 48 and I find it's just the right size for me. I would encourage you to look for a smallish backpack like you're saying around 45-50L to encourage you to pack thoughtfully and keep it lightweight. I would say that if you're not filming, you should be fine with a 45L but will be snug. Perhaps a 50 or 55L could be also worthwhile to allow for future longer adventures, or winter gear taking up more room etc. If your bag is synthetic, it will occupy a lot more space than if it's a down bag etc.
Still, keep gear down to a minimum for lowest weight, and maximum enjoyment! If you're unsure wether you'll need it, chances are you don't need it!
@@EzeAdventurer that’s perfect thanks very much!! Your videos are an inspiration
Lovely trip and very cool video ! At what time of the year did you go there ? ✌️
Thank you! This was in June !
Where is this? I would. Love to visit
Can't pinpoint I'm so sorry
Hey, Would yoi be able to tell me where is this place is?
I'm so sorry I can't pinpoint :-(
The wife after the fish...😂👌
Hey eze, very random question I was wondering what brand is your partner's grey jumper please ? My partner really wants one 😅
haha I think it's a decathlon (quechua) long sleeve dry fit shirt, it's actually mine and she was using it :-)
@@EzeAdventurer thank you very much! Found it!
@@lukechristoforou8810 Great!!
Did you spot any adders?
Not this time unfortunately (my wife was pleased though!)
Enjoy. I have for over 35 years. But don't promote on RUclips. Leave no trace, physical or digital. Take home only memories. Protect the "wilderness", whats left of it, for the future.
Thanks buddy, I agree, that's why I don't mention or post any locations on my trip. I still think it's possible to produce content like this to inspire others to get outdoors and feel nature for themselves. Regardless of location etc. One thing I believe: "You can't protect what you don't know".
I think if more people got outdoors and experienced what me and you experienced, they world would likely be a better place, with more willing to take action to protect the "wilderness" we have left.
Sorry, but unfortunately it does inspire idiots from towns and cities who don't respect or look after the countryside. Leave their junk behind , toilet waste , tents , empty drink products etc etc It's shocking what they do to the countryside .... Don't go if you can't look after it.
@@EzeAdventurer on balance I'm sorry but I can't agree. If we want to protect these places our best chance is not to promote them. Maybe it feels like the least worst option but it's the right one. I strongly believe we have a new form of litter, digital litter, left by people who may in some cases have good intentions but are primarily following some kind of narcissistic trip. The younger generation are particularly prone to it. It's as if they don't feel they actually exist unless they offer up everything they do to the electronic ether.
@@mattwright2964 I hear you. but can't agree either.. If we don't promote nature and get people even CARING about it, we have ZERO chance. Step number one is getting people to connect with it and care about it.
FYI I don't put names, or ever pin point and I don't tell people the location when they ask... people still need to work for it, discover and develop the necessary skills to safely access some of these places.
How noble of you, you must sleep well at night. I bet you are a true bootlicking ZOGBOT
Hi mate love the video is their any chance u could share the rout with me
Hi max thanks so much, I’m sorry I can’t mate 😞 as I must try to protect the area from getting too popular so can’t publish that info online, I hope you understand 🙏
Where is this in Scotland. Can you please share the location. Thanks!
Im so sorry I wish I could share it but publishing that info may risk the location being compromised by too much traffic, I hope you understand and apologies in advance 🙏
where is this? We're heading up to Scotland in a week ...
Can’t pinpoint I’m so sorry, hope you have a a amazing trip! It’s all so wonderful there
Awesome Eze. What loch was that may I ask?
Thanks pal I can't say buddy I'm afraid, need to try to prevent publishing spots/locations, hope you understand
@@EzeAdventurer sure Eze. I'm guessing it begins with "E"... 😉 It's a lovely spot!
@@AndyMacaskill ;-) thanks for understanding!
Where is this exactly please?
Can't say I'm afraid as don't want the spot to be spoiled by publishing it online... I'm sorry 😔
That first trout should have been returned, it was far too small.
Yes in hindsight yes. I usually catch them about that size, so wasn't expecting to catch anything bigger there.
You say loch better than the English do.
Haha thanks 😀👊
leymealea like vd you
Thankssss!!
Argentinos?
Si señor !
OK. Que bien yo soy de Colombia y mi mujer es de Escocia, vivimos aqui en Perth. Te recomiendo no beber agua sin filtrar, se estan presentando algunos casos de un tipo de amebiasis muy agresivos.
I love Scotland ❤ especially in the part of the world where you both was. Minus the darn midges .. I go in spring and Autumn when they have gone. Or I’d be eaten alive 😂. Beautiful video love the drone footage ❤
Thank you!! gotta love them midges lol
