The flag they rallied to was a "temporary perma flag". What this means is that when the flag is placed (with specific timing based on Nez voice line) it stays for a few seconds and then disappears. Dying early allows your team to instantly respawn when their ghosts move to the final boss room and rally that flag. If they were to wait for joining allies, they would not get the temporary flag and not have ammo.

Everyone gets buff at the start, goes to assigned plate, then activates it straight away. Once you shoot, call it out so the final person camping node spawn can shoot to progress the nodes.
Just knowing when to use it and when to Icarus dash/ activate ur jump will determine ur speed. Fake skating helps (having ur sword automatically out after a skate)
What is happening for the first encounter for the nodes? How are you able to keep punching the light buff seed and people are still able to get all the nodes? I think I have an idea, but not sure. Is it basically first person hitting node, then you punching light buff to make next seed show up, then next person hitting their node, then you hitting light buff, etc etc?

Thanks for the video, this is impressive. My team was trying the first encounter like this, and in the later phases of the encounter, the light aura orb would randomly move back to the starting plate of that phase, rather than continuing to follow 2 spots behind the completed nodes. Our approach was to have each player grab the light aura at the start, go to their own plate, and shoot the dark nodes as they popped up. We'd stay on those plates to also shoot the light aura orb when it had moved to our plate. About half way through the progression, the light aura orb would move back to the original spot. Any idea what mechanic we were doing wrong to cause this? Is there a specific reason you are not grabbing the aura with everyone else at the start of each phase? If that explanation doesn't make sense I can try to clarify.
So because there is 7 and 8 nodes for the last 2 phases u have the people who were the first two nodes move to the second to last and last while the other people rotate around their plates to activate buff. This is for the 4th set and 3rd set u just have the first node go to the end. It’s just rotating players around the possible buff spawns
